Hey, awesome. *sigh* Can I just point out that, again, you caused trouble by withholding simple information that would have solved a lot (not all) of the complaints?
All you had to do was say, "New hardware, you're not going to get locked out of the server," and that would have solved all your problems except the scheduling complaints.
This isn't as egregious as the thread where you refused to comment on the purported in-game exploits, but said in PMs that they weren't real. If you had just posted that the "exploits" were perception and not real...again, perhaps in any of the myriad threads discussing the topic ad nausea...
Just saying.

Just checked again. Yup. The invasion event for the Champion server is from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Pacific Time on a Monday night, as per the first post in the thread.

The badge event is on the 27th on Freedumb which will be extended to cover 28th-30th if sufficient numbers join. They have also said they will have some other means of obtaining the badge at a later date which will be the only way I'll get it due to being away for the bank holiday.

There are actual Devs running things, dropping mobs on folks, etc, so there's only so much time they have available to do so. NOBODY is saying "make it so that every single person can attend." But some of us *are* saying that a single 3-hour window in the early afternoon on a weeknight isn't sufficient. The time they picked is the most convenient for them, and at the same time hitting the majority of people's window of play (more people work days and have evenings free). There isn't a time frame that's better, or will catch more people, unless they chose to have each server be invaded twice, once in the day, once in the evening, but that would mean even less time for their people to actually do some work.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Is it so that the badge will be awarded immidatly as you log in or are in the time frame?
Wonders since 4pm would be 01am for me (and I'd be tired)

There REALLY should be AT LEAST 2 windows per server. Virtue is consistently the most popular server and you plan the Virtue event for a Wednesday evening? Which happend to be my BFs Birthday so I won't be able to game. Thanks for nothing. I've been playing this game almost since the beginning - too bad you made it so I can't participate in the anniversary event.

Back in the Rikti Invasion some of the CoH staff were RPing as the Rikti generals, which was a ton of fun. I'm hoping and looking forward to that sort of thing more than anything else with this event.

Have to say its gonna be a failure.
I enjoy CoH.....the storylines and lore are great.....but....there is no way you can do large scale events like this with the current network code you have.
Just not possible...
I've done several Rikti Mothership Raids and so far this Invasion event is even worse.
Its not a graphics problem....its a net code issue and I think its on server end because I'm not monitoring any major network traffic on my end.
Please....fix your net code.....please....

Just logged off Virtue in disgust. This sucked and was extremely unfun. Here's my experience: redname announcement appears. EVERYONE rushes towards that spot. Trains stop running. You get there. And either all the enemies are dead before you see them because of the other 100 people that swarmed in, or you die instantly because of the extreme lag making your powers not fire. At all. Push button, no powers fire. Nothing happens. Well, I don't do anything. That Victoria there, on the other hand... it gets to do plenty.
Seriously, I respect you guys... but please, please NEVER run an event like this ever again where the "event" is just the GMs and mods and such bouncing around spawning random hordes of baddies/giant lagbombs. It's not fun, doesn't feel epic, and just feels like we're chasing you guys around just to get sent to the hospital when we get there.
Why can't we have stuff like the Rikti raids? Those are epic and exciting! This... this is just not fun at all. I'll log back in when it's over.

I do believe that they did not include east coast time...... The time on the east coast will be from 7pm to 10pm...... Not sure if folks are getting confused by this....perhaps the time schedule should be updated to reflect what the east coast time will be.
