My first post after redname ever! Finally!
Well, this is not a rant but with tons of character slots coming with the GSA, this is a bit... meh. But hey, thanks by the way.
I wish the sales was for all boosters packs avalaible. I only lack the mutant pack.

If we could get more than 36 slots per server, i'd be dropping mad cash on this. As it is now, I'm already full up.

Wasn't intending on buying slots any time soon, but I definitely see this as a time stock up. I think I've already filled my empty slots on Protector and Justice but still have room to expand. <hmmm>

This is great for most I'm sure but a bit frustrating for me. Since slots were not mentioned before with the rename tokens and server transfers, I already bought up some slots figuring that they weren't getting discounted. And now when they are getting discounted it ends the day before I get paid again.
Hopefully next time something like this discount stuff happens it'll all get announced at the same time.
But still, good news for those who can take advantage of it now.

I'm about to get a couple completely new servers worth of slots to play with, for free.
Why on earth would I spend money to get more slots, even at half price?

Also: Six years of casual play begins to look an awful lot like one year of hardcore play.
Give me an extra page of characters in potentia (That'd be 4 pages of 12, or 48) and I'd buy 12 for Union. Why buy for a server when we're getting global server list merge soon?

(For proper reasons, I RP on Union, and all my characters on there have lore, backstory, and currently none of them are up for retirement. The thought of transfering some to another server would not work, because if I suddenly felt like playing a character, I'd have to pony up the cash to transfer them back. Thus 48, or even better, 60 characters per server, would suit me fine.)
PS. Please don't sue me, The Cure. 'Friday I'm In Love' was just too awesome not to use.

Yup, useless to me, 36 slots on Victory all full, already have a load of slots stacked up unused for elsewhere.
Free character transfers would be nice after the list merge (or half price if you won't do free), so I can get some 50s off Victory and onto what are now the Euro servers to make space on Victory, and give me some stuff to play on defiant/union.

I just bought 5 slots. Half of 17.99 should be 8.99/9.00. I was charged 11.99 according to billing summery. I'll check my credit card statement to see if the correct price was there but I'm gonna check with support too!

Too late now but this would have been a great time to do a name purge. Nothing inspires starting a new character (and buying a slot to put him in) like finding a great name.
This is a lovely gesture but might I respectfully suggest that it is a tad premature, especially for the European community.
My thinking is simply that many Europeans especially have already maxed out the servers they (can) play on. What I expect many from both sides of the community to do is to have a mooch around on the new territories and see where they fit well and then make homes there - that's when the new slots would be most welcome I'd guess, say a month after the Great List Merge.
