If those hacks would pour their energies into something halfway original, they might become the next Troma. Troma never made good movies, but you at least respect their chutzpah and attitude. Plus they have a cult following nowadays. Global Asylum will just be forgotten.

SyFy doesn't own Asylum. NBC Universal/Comcast doesn't own Asylum.
Maybe Asylum pays SyFy or gives SyFy a low, low price to show it as some form of advertising for Asylum?
