Just to double confirm, these are all the new badges in Issue 20, correct? Nothing else that is outside of the Incarnate Trials and new task forces?

* I know the respec badges were "available" before and we just couldn't get them.

Yes, but will they be as tough when many people are +3 Level Shifted and experienced with how the trials work?

One would like to think that they wouldn't, but as some of them such as Synchronized or the "do not move Siege/Nightstar from their spawn point badges would require teamwork/cooperation and the law of averages usually indicates that there is one person on a team that just won't "get it" in terms of instructions.....

not quite, but since both the half-life logo and the lambda facility use the greek letter 'lambda', its not surprising they are similar. however, the half-life logo has extended pieces on the top and bottom, while the lambda facility logo has a crooked top-half, unlike the half-life logo.

similar yes, but definitely not the same, plus use of greek letters is hard to sue over .

You got one, Emperor.

Heck, it is hard to convince people to not touch the guard tower controls let alone not move the AVs.

So true. Also with so many people needed to run these it will be....tricky....to ensure that all listen and not behave....irrationally.

Ah well with time and coordination I'm sure they can be obtained. Given how many times one must spin an alt through these just to get the XP to unlock the incarnate slots, they will have many chances for the badges.

Our League got Synchronized on my third failed run last night without really trying. It's going to be luck of the draw on that one, of course, since there's not some kind of interface that tells you that each team has engaged a destructible object, and shows their comparative health, such as the obelisk things in the Cathedral of Pain.

I can hardly believe that I just praised an element of the Cathedral of Pain design.

Uhm, there IS. You see Nightstar and Seige's health in a pop-up window when you engage Nightsar for the first time o_O

There is not. She's not talking about Nightstar and Siege. The badge is for destroying a containment chamber and a weapon crate within 2 seconds of each other (in the Lambda trial).

My impression: you'll get this one without even trying. It was the first trial badge I got.

Hi,

Gotta Keep them Seperated - Defeat both the AV's without moving them from their original locations.

Ran four successful BAF's last night and always used the tennis court and pulling the AV's together.

Seige in particular was always ready to run off and we did have to repull him a couple of times.

So do we know just how much of an area in the original locations count as the original locations?

What happens if they take off for a short sprint?

Do we have to lock them down tight as a drum ie rooted, for the entire take down to get this badge, or is it okay if we can get them to stay in the general vicinity of where they spawn?

Asking cause it will take a bit of planning to do this under the guns as well.

Am thinking this is a job similiar to the 2 Tin Mage badges in the warehouse where it is easier to get them (the timed glowies and the Director take down) in seperate runs. Just get the timed twin defeat and then run again for the locations defeat?

Cheers

To the best of my knowledge the AVs in the BAF Trial are completely immune to most control powers (very deliberate design). About the only controls they seem to be affected by are taunts and KB.

* Guessing for Not On My Watch, Alarm Raiser, Gotta Keep 'Em Separated, and Strong and Pretty.

Section 2b: Lambda Trial Badges.
Accolade - Master of Lambda Sector - achieve the following special achievements during the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial: Antacid, Lambda Looter, Synchronized, and Well-Stocked.
  • Lambda Leader - Complete the Lambda Trial.
  • Syncronized - Destroy a Weapons Cache and an Incubation Pod within 2 seconds of each other during the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial.
  • Well-Stocked * - Complete the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial having acquired 10 Pacification Grenades and 10 Molecular Acids but using none of them.
  • Antacid * - Complete the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial having acquired 10 Molecular Acids but using none of them.
  • Lambda Looter * - Complete the Lambda Sector Incarnate Trial having acquired 10 Pacification Grenades but using none of them.

* Guessing for Antacid, Lambda Looter, and Well-Stocked.

What you have down for Well-Stocked, Antacid, and Lambda Looter is redundant. If the team gets Well-stocked, then it automatically should get the other two.

Also, is it even possible to take out Marauder without pacifying him?

/gignore @username is the best feature of this game. It's also probably the least used feature.
