You are not Level 51.
Also on the fact that the 50 won't be standing there allowing himself to be killed. Given enough time ANYTHING can do enough damage to kill a 50. So of all things that show you are still 50, doing enough damage to kill a 50 isn't all that impressive to use as an example.

No I am not. A couple of my characters however are. ;P
Make a man a fire and keep him warm for the day, SET a man on fire and keep him warm for the rest of his life.
Incarnates: K'lir(Fire/Dark Corr):Hot-House Flower(Plant/Fire Dom):Kinrad X(Kin/Rad Def):Itsy-Bitsy Spider(Crab):Two Ton Tony(Mace/WP Broot):Teeny Weeny Widow(Fortunata/Widow) : Zeroth Law (Ice/Fire Tank)
Just to clarify things for me, is this actually a discussion that we are having?
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

The UI isn't the only determination for language usage in the game, otherwise we wouldn't have terms like scranker, blapper, offender, huntsman build, WTF, etc. If a group of people use level 51 to denote a level shifted character, then that's what level 51 means, even if another group thinks that term should be reserved for a situation that is unlikely to ever exist.

I just found it ridiculous to ask for proof of a level 51 player having more HP than a level 50. For 49 level ups, you gained more HP, a new power or new slots and your powers' base damage went up. So a level 51 will naturally have all of that happen too, not just some parts of it.
And entities that do go past level 50, NPCs, have more HP at level 51 than 50.

You are Security Level 50 but you are Combat Level 51. It's easier to just say Level 51 and most people will know what you mean.
I pulled the trigger. That's right, I did it, in Warburg, with the pistol. - Mista Chains
Everyone know the Tank Archetype get the most drops of all the types. This is because of their "Death Dealing" powers. I call it the front line bonus...but you'll never read this in the wiki - "Rx10"
Oh don't misinterpret where I stand on this argument. I don't care whether they call themselves 51 or Death Ponies. I know what they mean when they advertise themselves as level 51.

ROTFL!
Seriously, why can't we all just say "I'm like 51, but not". Honestly I couldn't care less if someone says they are rutabega as long as they aren't a total moron during a tf. |

EXACTLY Call it whatever you like 50 (+1). 50+1 or just 51.. after I slotted my first tier 3 and got my LEVEL SHIFT suddenly level 50 minons conned BLUE to me and I even found Elite Bosses on the ITF that were no longer PURPLE they were YELLOW.. I personally like to type in the 50 (+1) when I am advertising my services to any team but I see plenty of people that simply use 51 to save time. Everyone knows exactly what both methods mean.. "Hi I am looking for a team and my character has a teir 3 or 4 slotted in my Alpha. So basically I can kick the crap out of just about anything"
RELAX Choas there are plenty of other things to /rant about. This seems like a pretty small issue compared to other things happening in game.

Alright fine, You are not level 52 or 53. Can we agree on this?
So why not make this simpler and just say "+1 AT lft" or for those who have the new shifts "+2 AT lft" or "+3 AT lft." Its not like anyone except for Incarnates can have level shifts.
What why are you all looking at me like a mentally handicapped person at a Mensa convention...? I will be able to apply logic to an arguement on the internet someday.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
Of course the scenario is oversimplified as stated, since "enough damage to kill a 50" depends on a lot more than level (AT, +Max Health set bonuses, Accolades, etc).
