Possible Repercussions of the Server Merge
"Bob's your uncle."
Usually used after the reveal of a plan, "So we do this and, bob's your uncle, we score ourselves some nice loot." The full phrase, atleast in my area is usually, "as sure as Bob's your uncle and Fanny's your aunt." Fanny being an old english name here...not what you filthy, filthy Americans use it for. Filthy! |

Hey Steelclaw, is this going to affect your meta-game? Are you going to have to restart, or can you absorb something like this without a complete reboot?
|
No, shouldn't have to. The worst that will happen is I will expand out to the newly available servers so each has a team in them. Then I'll spend a few weeks playing nothing but those characters to "catch them up" to the pre-existing ones.
My infection will root in Europe, and slowly spread outwards. Soon everyone will be unable to play without spreadsheets... the guards at Buckingham palace will move their hands all the time in spasmodic twitches even while on duty... the Mimes of Paris (M.O.P.s for short) will remain trapped in the box forever because of the same twitching... Everyone will be unable to stop it... the jerky motion of hitting ALT-tab to check out some data on the spreadsheet before ALT-tabbing back to the game...
Dear GAWD!! Oh well.... he was never my favorite of Santa's reindeer anyway.
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw
I think it's the bacon, sausage, black pudding, and fried bread that cause things to take a left turn.
|
And black pudding is *LOVELY* though (although i guess that knowing what goes into it will turn the normal person off it).
Fried bread though, if done properly, isnt "dripping with fat" and more along the lines of "crispy" (lightly fry so that it goes brown, and then leave to stand on a piece of kitchen paper) whilst you serve up the rest of the meal.
*Side note: So who brings the left handed haggis? I think i have a right handed haggis in a witches hat somewhere around here*
I for one welcome our new European Overlords !
* Creation of a Key Bind that says "I'm from America... I only speak English" in every European language.
|
* Canadians will be given access to special protest emote where the sign will read "It's the freaking NORTH AMERICAN server!! Not the US server go**ammit!"
|
If the Devs had any sense of humor they would tell us that those binds said "I'm from America... I only speak English" but in reality those binds would actually say something like "I'm an ugly American and don't care about your silly language" in the respective European languages. Just watch the good times roll from that.
|
French:
"Je suis un affreux Americain et je me moque éperdument de votre langue ridicule."
German:
"Ich bin ein hässlicher Amerikaner, und ich respektiere Ihre dumme Sprache nicht"
British:
"I am an ugly American and I do not care about your silly language, with all its extra 'o's, and its 's's instead of 'z's"
** all this said tongue firmly in cheek **

I warmly welcome the server list merge, hoping that all our servers will be enriched with more British humor, German engineering, and French food.
Part of me, however, does fear that we might instead get stuck with British food, German humor, and French engineering.
How can one go wrong with eggs, fried mushrooms and tomatoes and beans?
It's what plants crave! |
For the all day full English breakfast (sometimes it's used as a dinner replacement) add chips (or fries as you Americans call them) to that.
With a cup of tea to wash it all down with.
At a time like this the words of our forefathers are good to remember!
"this what happened in the last game i played hackers ruined it for everyone dupin rares and gold and just anything to cheat there no extened maintenance there trying to catch the hacker and we pay for it so unless people don't let GM'S know of wrong doing's in the game it we ruin it and there we not be a COH IT WELL BE GONE TO THE AMERICANS!!!!!!! "

It's soccer, NOT football !
Soccer = World Cup Football
Yeah, this is what happens when the only sport you experienced for many years at home was American Football, due to your mother and her boyfriend being American Football coaches for a local team.
