ya know gg, i love ya like a first cousin, but you keep making these "hinting" posts , and you are either violating information that would be nda'd, or at the very least was meant to be kept in confidence or you are taking speculation and misleadingly making it look like you know something, please stop that. it needlessly makes it look like specific things are going to happen soon, when they really aren't, so far as we know.
I have to admit that the more I keep seeing about this pack the more hyped up I'm getting (I was going to use the term "excited", but that might be taken the wrong way ). I just hope I don't end up expecting so much that when they lift those black-outs I look at what we're getting and go "Oh... ok. Nice, but just not quite as cool as I was thinking it would be."

I can't seem to recall one particular thing. Have all the booster pack's been in testing before they hit live? I can't put my finger on it (I'm not much of a test server person anyway.), but I feel that they have put them directly on live server a couple times before with only internal testing (probably wrong).
some of the boosters went to test, But I think that was mostly to test out the power, and/or some brand new never before done aspect of the pack.
If this pack is what I think it is(new, but not ground breaking costume peices+ A ninja run clone+ the prerequisite emotes), it might just go straight to live, or it might be in private beta right now and go to live without open. All that said I feel like open beta is definitely good advertising for the pack. People get to sample and even build awesome things with the new features then go on live and feel depressed that they can't use them so they buy the pack.
Ok, I HAVE found something to grouse about in the new pack-- THE OFFICIAL NAME.
They call it a "pack" - like the "Party Pack", the "Complete Collection Item Pack" the "Origins Pack." "Pack" is used mostly for assemblies of common items (animations, capes) or items that were part of other promotional packages (Complete collection, etc). This pack has content more aligned to "Super Booster" status-- we have costume parts, animations, costume change emotes, and even a travel power.
If they'd gone that route, they could have added some comic-book-styled alliteration and called it the Beast Booster!
And yes, if that is all I can find wrong with this pack, I'm a very happy camper.
