What is your favorite TFs & why?
Apex, STF, LRSF

In no particular order..
1. The ITF Probably one of the easiest TFs to recruit for and I still get a kick out of battling the Cyclops and Minataurs. With the new Incarnate system this also seems to be the one that pays off the best in shards thanks all those Bosses, EBs and AVs.
2. The STF I love the challenge of this one. Tons of AVs to face and requires some coordination on the last mission to keep Recluse busy while the team takes down the towers.
3. Sorry but I like Tin Mage. You get the "hard" mission out of the way first against Director 11 and after that it's EASY.. Plus I still get a kick out of the last mission when someone is doing it for the first time and enters the portal room and see ALL those Superheroes waiting to send us off. heheh I've had teams spend 5 minutes wandering around the room just looking to see who all is there.
And I'd like to add a 4th as sort of a runner up. I recently did the Faathim TF in the Storm Palace for the first time ever. It was a little long but unlike some of the Shard TFs I found it to be very enjoyable. Lots of AVs to battle, no mindless hunts to defeat 50 of this or that throughout the zone and we only left the zone itself one time for a few missions in Paragon before returning for the conclusion. I did it with a 50 level and the shard count wasn't bad either but it did take us over 3 hours and i could have done 2 shorter TFs and gotten more elsewhere. Still it was something different, for a change, and I would do it again.

Apex, Tin Mage, Lady Grey. I enjoy Apex because it's always got me on my toes, more so than Tin Mage. The Battle Maiden Battle is simply epic. I enjoy the battles against the War Walkers in both those TFs. Lastly I enjoy Lady Grey because at the time when it first came out, finding out Honoree was Hero1 was a great plot-twist for me. Ever since I started the game I modelled Sov after Hero1's designs so it was great to see the character that influenced me become a Villain.

In order:
1. Apex (1up over TM due to being a bit more challenging)
2. Tin Mage (it could be a toss up between here and the 4th spot, but since I run both Apex and Tin Mage consecutively 95% of the time, they're basically the same TF to me)
3. STF (slight nod over RSF due to better rewards and being a hero tf, equivalent fun factor)
4. RSF
5. Silver Mantis (only requires 4 people, can be easily solo'ed, short sf with good rewards, i19 has reduced the value of this SF quite a bit tho)
6. ITF (might have been higher if it wasnt run so damn much)
7. Kahn (its like 3x better than cuda in my book, but has a number of annoying bugs atm dropping its rating a bit)
8. LGTF (nothing I hate about it, nothing I really like about it though either)
9. Ice Mistral (average tf with unique elements)
10. Cap SF
11. Katie Hannon (the rewards suck, but its still a fun TF, and has the mmrs)
12: Eden Trial
13: Vill Respec (3rd > 1st > 2nd)
14: Sewer Trial
15. Numina (I like telling ppl where to go :3 )
16: Barracuda (terrible excuse for a kahn TF)
17. Manticore
18. New Positron
19. Faathim (for a shard tf its actually not half bad)
20. Moonfire
21. Hess
22. Old Positron
23. Citadel (both sis and cit there's nothing special about either of em, and I've had to run them soooo many times accolading toons that theyre just a pain now)
24. Sister Psyche
25. Cavern of Transcenence
26. Shark SF (devs messed this one up big time when they shortened it, I'm not sure if I like it more or less than it was before because of the stupidity of having 3 longbow hunts in nerva in a row)
27. Hero Respec (2nd > 1st > 3rd)
28. Synapse (its about as awful as Dr. Q except you only get like 5 powers, the saving grace being its not nearly as long)
29. Augustine/Sara Moore (theyre both pretty awful)
30. Dr. Q (grossness incarnate)
I'm probably missing some hmmm.
I think my favorite is Sister Psyche. I love taking down all those Freakshow.
My second favorite would be Synapse. It's a lot of fun and I enjoy the arc itself.
My 3rd are all the TF's you get at lvl 50. They are harder and you have to really think about your toon's build in order to get what you want accomplished. Everything up until now had been practice >.<
1) Katie Hannon - This was a lot better when it was farmable for recipes, but it's still my favorite. It's very fast and in one of my favorite zones.
2) ITF - pretty much for all the reasons everyone else mentioned.
3) Anything else that can be run fairly quickly. If it takes less than an hour to run, I am all for it.

CoP Has number one spot, but as it is a trial I don't know if you count it.
1. Mender Silos- I actually haven't done this with a full team yet, but love the TF concept.
2. LRSF- I wish it could be done without killing Swan as she is my favorite.
3. Apex- I would put Apex/TM, but TM lost some points with D11 being so annoying when we duo'd it. I'm still salty!
4. Twilight's Son- Short, but challenging.
5. STF
6. Tin Mage
7. Kahn
8. 'Cuda
I like anythin' Shadow Shard related, so the Cathedral o' Pain ranks pretty high up there with me. However, the Shard TFs are, for the most part, long and borin' and could use a major revamp. I do like the canon and lore that gets revealed in'em though.

i wish there were more bigger scale events where more than 8 ppl could be involved..
synapse IMO is the WORST
Apex is my favorite, for the Battle Maiden battle. Its really NOT that challenging if you watch where the hell you are going. But its challenging just enough, in that it makes you move around and take caution instead of standing in one spot and button mashing.
Katie is my second favorite, for Mary Macomber battles. SO MUCH EXPERIENCE. Seriously, I think I've leveled so many times in that mission. I love it.
Aaaand I can't remember who gives out the TF (Renault, I think?) but the one that ends with a mission on the Sky Raider base is a lot of fun.
50s: Silent Spy - MA/Regen Scrapper | Tinkerhell - SS/Inv Brute | Extrasensory - Psi/Men Blaster | Ana Cruz - DP/PD Corruptor | Sara Thunderbird - Elec/Elec Scrapper | Pinstrike - Spines/SR Scrapper | Cold Feet - Cold/Cold Blaster
@Silent Spy, Champion Server
Apex and LRSF
3. Lady Grey Task Force - You get to beat up a crap ton of Rikti. 'Nuff said.
2. Ernesto Hess Task Force - Giant robot inside a volcano. 'Nuff said.
1. Tin Mage Task Force - I like the pace of it, that the end of it takes place in Praetoria, and the giant war walkers.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for Rikti and giant robots.
@Celestial Lord and @Celestial Lord Too
ITF - EB's galore. Lots of ambushes... but not overkill.
Khan - simple and fun
Tin Mage - I like the challenge
Sister Psyche (I really wish it was higher level though.) - Freaks...
Hess - All in one zone and a giant robot in a volcano.
KHTF - progressive difficulty and all in one zone
Shadow Shard on Invincible... just a challenge. Needs a bit of rework I think now.
YMMV---IMO
Ice Ember
In no particular order...
ITF - It's fun to speed through, but it's also still fun to go the slower, more scenic route. Overall, I find it to be a well balanced TF.
STF - I enjoy the challenge of this TF. Sure, it's still possible to steamroll it, but if you take certain things for granted or get sloppy, it'll be noticeable. Definitely a TF where you appreciate strong players.
Manticore TF - It's quick, easy to run and rarely a headache.
Apex TF - I don't think it's the fact that it's more challenging alone, but more the fact that it's challenging in a different way.

Amygdala's Guide to the Cathedral of Pain Trial
1. Ernesto Hess -- Always been my favorite though taking away the actual death and explosion at the end definitely dulled the shiney for me.
2. Apex -- Its a slight challenge and hilarious to watch people having a hard time evading in the Battle Maiden battle.
3. Any of the Shadow Shard TF's. Not because the tf's are actually that fun, I just love the Shadow Shard. I totally resent the fact that the dev's haven't given us more content there.
4. StF I love AV's and this one has plenty.
Apex is by far my favourite TF, at the moment. I jump on my Blaster and just kangaroo around the place, the last mish with BM is EPIC fun. Not too hard but not too easy, its Kellogs.
Second place goes LRSF, I think. Playin' it on a Broot is good fun and the sheer amount of Heroes gives you that "Holy sh*t balls, Batman! How can we win this?!" kinda feelin'
Third is definatly the new Posi TF, for sure. The amount of ambushes and ninja-ing the glowies on the last mish all make it awesomesauce.
Plus, whats not to like about puttin' the hurt on CoT so hard that they'll feel it after they're dead?
Least favourite (nice way of sayin' the sh*ttiest) has got to be 3 of the Shard TFs, I don't mind Sara Moore's, the last mish is pretty fun.
But the length and boredom factor of the other 3, kills me...
It was a tough choice to pick the worst though, Synapse and the Old Posi almost made it in there.
In no particular order I would say ITF, LRSF, and Apex.
The worst would have to be Synapse because doing the same mission over and over again is fun.

ITF, LGTF, LRSF.
All doable in a short amount of time with a good reward at the end.
Tin Mage is probably my preferred "newer" one so far.
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes
Here are my Top 10 in order
1) Tin Mage - Easier than Apex IMO & the merits/min is great
2) Apex - Great merits/min
3) ITF - No Mez, so i can rock it with my blaster
4) LRSF - Awesome Story, lots of corruptor love hehe
5) LGTF - Good merits/min
6) STF - I actually get to use my emp from time to time here
7) Khan - idk why...
8) Manticore - my blaster destroys the Paragon Protectors here so its win in my book
9) Numina - 4shes favorite TF, therefore a good TF in my book
10) Dr. Q - I've only done it once when i led it we got it done in in 2.5ish hours im interested to see what we could do next time
Interesting to see how there's so many interpretations of what makes a TF fun or not fun. No wonder the Devs have such a hard time.
My threshold for a TF to be not fun is when there's no AV at the end to fight (or anywhere else in the TF). That's when it being a string of regular mishes really stands out.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

maybe there's a "sense" of challenge involved, and a possibility of failure? Achieving success against challenge usually my interpretation of fun. I think continually challenging yourself in diverse ways progresses your character and your own abilities... the day i feel "unchallenged" or too dominant in a game is the day i step away from it, usually

1) prob my fav is a steamroll ITF.... You can do ITF's pretty much with anything w/ some good debuffing for the end. Really enjoy the mass "mah mah monster-kill" of herding cims too...
2)Kahn TF - doesnt take many teammates to even start this top-tier tf. With some debuff, there are plenty of AV's to take down - and thats fun. Doesnt require a specific key player either. One time on an all-ranged pug team, i had a pvp blaster tank Reisch. Granted he was kept debuffed mostly and the blaster was kept buffed, some of the bene's of ranged chars..
3)Apex TF - i actually enjoy this one over the Tin Mage. The Battle Maiden scenario is fun and i enjoy seeing teammates getting challenged and die over and over. Who would have thunk that challenging your sense of positional awareness could be such a challenging task for some? The end is really a zip - just gotta keep on your toes and not get so locked on button smashing....
