One of those words doesn't really belong with the other three
Pain Domination is the Tough Love version of Empathy. My Heroic Mercs MM is out in the field yelling orders and keeping the moral up. Without the MM, the mercenaries wouldn't last very long. No pain, no gain. Not all Pain Dominators are "evil" Empaths. Some of them can just be a tough-as-hell drill sergeant or any number of things.

Pain Domination actually works pretty well for Natural origin in that way. It's too bad I can't change the animations to better convey that my MM is giving orders, rather than using the Empathy animations.

Why does pain domination have to be evil?

"Oh sorry guys, when my genes randomly mutated/when I was in that lab explosion, I didn't gain the ability to heal your wounds. I can just make it easier for you to keep going despite them. So sorry, I'm gonna have to go kidnap people and blow up banks."

What?

Don't pay too much attention to GG. Her viewpoint on things is strictly black and white. Once Defenders/Controllers get Pain Domination there will be a convenient reason/excuse why heroes can have it and it's not evil. Until then, yeah it's totally so darn evil.

You didn't actually refute anything I said. If he's the epitome of the superhero, why does he use his powers for evil?

If the Punisher blew up a building to collapse it on a villain, we'd all agree he was a vigilante. If Superman threw a villain at a building, causing it to collapse, why wouldn't he also be a vigilante? Heck, the Punisher would most likely have made sure the building was empty (so nobody would tamper with his trap, but still, no innocents), whereas Supes would have acted in the heat of the moment, meaning the building was probably populated. And as I said before, Superman can go back in time. After destroying the building and killing hundreds, he could go back in time and catch the bad guy before impact, but does he? No. Never. Superman performs acts of evil in the pursuit of justice when he is capable of making other choices, and he rarely shows any remorse. He is the very definition of a vigilante, and you cannot prove otherwise.

Heck, his very presence is a violation of the law - he's an illlegal immigrant, unless he's at some point applied for refugee status. But to do that, he'd have to reveal his true identity, and I'm pretty sure he's never done that.

But .. the whole reason I'm a criminal mastermind is because I build robots. That makes me evil, doesn't it? They always told me building robots was evil, so I was evil. Was that wrong? *cry*

If you have the 'Pilot' badge you either are now or have been EVIL!

^This. There's never any point arguing any morality issue with GG, other than for the comedy value.

Whereas powers with names like Incinerate, Eviscerate and Ripper are all lollypops and rainbows.

Or, to use an example GG might actually know (although I wouldn't bet money on it), Crippling Axe Kick.

Yea, I have 1 hero and 1 villain that run tips for merrits. All my other 30 something characters just get the alignment that I feel suits them the most, once I get around to them anyway. And my badger just goes where the badges are.
