I'm not saying one of the writers plays CoH, but one of the writers plays CoH.

Not to be a bahumbegger, but I imagine lots SciFi Dimensional Portals, Stargates, etc. are made to look like this. Lots of structure and machinery (often circular) surrounding a pulsating energy flux - I'd say it's sort of a convention.
Heck, one could say CoH ripped off Stargate 
Still cool though, and eagerly anticipating GL movie

It's cool that this image does look similar to what we see in CoH.
But beyond any involvement of a CoH fan in this movie it's effectively a coincidence.

Yeah I'm sure a lot of portals are big and round like that, but that one looks A LOT like the Coh ones, the portal, the room around it etc all look a ton like the CoH version.
Maybe they play CoH maybe they don't but that's very close to an IP violation if you ask me!

The upper balconies on either side look like CoH, but the raised ramp into the portal looks a lot more like Stargate.
If the lower portion of the portal was in a low pit, and entry was flat, then it'd be more like CoH.
I'd like to see some time portals that aren't always circular.
Like a semicircle or a square or something.
I know they're the best shape for surface area : perimeter but come on, a little variety please!
