There was a mini-patch this morning, which was not I19. Though, on one of my computers, the patch was wrong and had to re-patch 'fixing' the main program.

Then, 10 minutes later, the servers went down with an in-game announcement. (They went down about 5 minutes ago from this post's time stamp.)

Touché. I do remember that, but wasn't sure if it was already patched through or not. I stand corrected.

Well servers are down time to start twidling the thumbs, kids will be home from school soon and I'm still laughing that the servers went down at the same time the last time I was in Croatoa and even in the same mission and searching for the last hostage again just like over a year ago

I think they are watching me o_O

Place your tongue in the roof of mouth as to make the D sound. But don't snap it to complete the sound. Instead transition into making the "...OOOOOOO..." sound while slowly lowering your tongue. Then transition smoothly into an elongated M like the end of "Hmm".

Now you too can pronounce "DDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!"

Although it's much easier to just go "DOOOOOOOOM!", but if you really want to go the full mile, you can.

My system appeared to verify the I19 predownload, apply it, then downloaded another 10 MB or so and applied that. One odd thing though: the launcher version number still says Issue 18, even after closing and re-opening it. Color me confuzzled.

Still, I will continue to hope it is Issue 19 while keeping a very tight reign on my enthusiasm.
I think they should just remove AE from the game. When it first came out I came up with a bunch of arcs...real epic type of stuff.

But with all the exploits I got tired of fixing the broken arcs when they nerfed the exploits. I NEVER design new stuff now. Waste of time.

There's a good point...they should warn us ahead of time on the hard drive space increases. I have three different Superhero MMOs installed right now (one in beta) and my space is running out. Too poor to buy a bigger hard drvie, so eventually I'll have to uninstall something!

Then perhaps this is going to be just the AE monkey fix. About time, but they really should tell us what "this" is.

They usually say, when a new issues is going to live: The servers are coming down for an extended maintanance period (whenever) from (whenever to whenever) to publish the latest issue (issue here) to the live servers!

I've seen some form of the above with every issue since I have been here (I6.) Why do they need to be so cryptic about it?

And aren't the downtimes for new issues generally longer than 4 hours? I seem to remember most of them taking 6+ hours of downtime...one of them took 7.

And with this whole issue that people are now having with the patcher (me too,) then this might very well *not* be what everyone is hoping for. =/

Actually, the launcher number is the same on Test and Beta. After patching, the game version is showing as a blank on Live so far for me, though. But the version.ini file now says 1900.201011102104.8.

I think that pretty much confirms it...

One thing that bothers me, I live in the Eastern time zone, the servers normally go down at 7am for maintenance and are back up around 9am or so. When I read that there was going to be a 4 hour downtime I ASSumed that the servers would be back up around 11am or at the latest by noon. I just read it again and the scheduled time for them to come back up is 1pm. It could realistically be 2 or 3pm before they actually do come back up. I play mostly in the daytime so there goes most of my day out the window.

Still, if i19 does come out today I'll forgive them.

I think in lesser polite circles, they would call that stretched out D sound stuttering. :P

Really...would it be too much effort for a redname to post a "Yes!" or "No!" on the i19 question? lol.

Probably not, but I imagine that at this current time, they are all busy getting the maintenance/patch done (which may or may not include I19).

There is no possible way I could have been right on any of my rants.

Why is my updater still saying v18?

Ah! I get it! My gear must be busted...

Right?

Because it's the same updater version for the test server..
open the version.ini file after updating. It shows 1900.201011102104.8, which is the same as test and beta.

Well, I am hoping that it is Issue 19, even if all they include is the inherent Fitness pool, it'll still be something that the players could really use. :-)

It would be a shame if it was just another patch for AE farms . . . Although, I would enjoy a global salvage storage for each paid account of somewhere between 300 to 1,000 capacity, I feel certain the devs won't do that for us, even though it would allow us to spend more time playing the game, and less time jumping from character to character to see which one has the salvage we need. Recently, some common invention salvage on the Black Market and Wentworth's has been going for over 1 million each. If people could store more salvage, perhaps by having the already existing Vault locations as a global salvage storage interface, that would help considerably.

Simple solution is the salvage shelves in superbases to be increased from 30 to 100 or something.

Of course, someone's gonna respond with "be thankful we even have salvage shelves"
