Calculate for flight trajectory, compensate for evasive maneuvers, vacuum drift and graviational variable flux...most likely variables of standard zig-zag evasion combined with optimal direct route planning...factoring in variables, adding directed support fire from station guns to channel movement...
Yeah. That ups your chances to about 95%. 95% chance of getting shot, that is.
Not sure you'd want to know your previous estimates

If a whole battery of trench--protecting turbo lasers can fail to hit something the size of an X-Wing at pretty close range, then a single orbital laser will have even less chance of hititng a human-sized object

1 precharge cannon
2 fire at people who are suckers for a photo opt
Also 10⁷ MPH > 58.63 MPH
I'd be way more cautious if there was an orbital laser in the area

So... not to get this thread back on track or anything...
But I'm going to have to join the party that assumes that not only does Sister Psyche know about Wyvern and Manticore's vigilantism, but actually does love him for it and helps guide him and his organization to keep them from attacking the wrong targets.
Like I said, Sister Psyche's seen the worst aspects of humanity in ways Statesman doesn't understand, she's touched the minds of the irredeemable, the insane, and those deviant in far worse ways than just a bondage fetish.
And with sister Psyche acting as a guide, it's possible that the rest of the Freedom Phalanx knows and accepts it.
So the only reason Statesman may not be spawning with Wyvern is because they don't go up to fifty.
(Strangely, none of their attacks deal toxic damage either)

X-wings also had shields and you could double them up on the front or rear if necessary. A-wings were still cooler, though.
