And the Domination bug. I think that one affects more players than the Kheldian bug.

There is No way in heaping heck are they going to launch on dec 7, there is a certain world ending event happening on that day that would truly be doom for this issue.

I guess you weren't here back when this game had a rather large portion of PvP players. What's a few people playing a kheldian main compared to thousands of people and they marginalized them quite well.

Personally I think a lot of things should have been in Going Rogue anways. "Lets strategize a way to introduce the game to a bunch of new people that don't know they have to almost auto pick the fitness pool, and then when they have the idea that they will need to take it BAM we switch it up on them". The reason that finally inherent fitness is coming about is because the people who were shouting for there to be endgame content gave reason why they hate altitis (no stamina pre-20), captain hindsight is leading this squad of devs and decided that maybe inherent fitness would be a good idea (would make more sense for it to be there already for the new players your trying to attract though).

On that note, push it out as fast you can, I have a few doms and I could care less about the dom bug, it will at least give me some time to feel the game out. If it's going to take a month to fix these things why not just put it out there now since it's not all that much of gamebreaking bugs and get fixes in there within a months time, it was going to take that long anyways for my doms to play it so I can play something else in the meantime. It's not like they are going to throw the game out there with all of these bugs and not correct them as they go, unless that is if we're talking about PvP......

Maybe. Maybe not. Those who care about CoH will be glad for the launch. Those who care for WoW won't care about CoH anyway. And those who care for both will split their time as they see fit.

I play both but I think a full expansion is a bigger deal than a content expansion. So I will be off to participate in world ending event.

Sometimes they get picky about directly mentioning other games. I just dont think its a really great decision to put yourself up directly against the 800lb gorilla, heck its risen to the level of 8000lb gorilla.

Yeah even though they technically have a week, coming in trying things out for a few days then not coming back for a month or two.

my final point is they had a golden opportunity here to get it out this week and catch alot of bored players with preexpansion blues. We saw it here before GR, this was a bad bad mistake even if its not actually anyones fault.

Yeah the Domination bug is a big one too. My statement wasn't really meant to be taken literally as a complete summary of the problems with I19 - for all we know there are other bad bugs BEYOND both the Kheldian bug and the Domination bug that still need to be handled as well.

Still I think it'd be bad move to try to release anything on the same day WoW is. I'm sure this game relies on Issue releases as a means to get a temporary boost to its revenues from returning players. There's no reason to waste the full effect of that "bump" by having any of our potential players distracted by another game.

Honestly if I19 got delayed long enough to have Dec 7 become the next viable date for its release I'd almost rather it be delayed yet another week beyond that just so that it doesn't have to eclipsed by WoW.

Not me. My sub runs out on the 8th and I want to play the new content before it runs out.

Well obviously I'd like to have I19 live right now...
But if it comes down to not going live until Dec 7 and you only get one day to play with I19 then I wish you luck with that.

I honestly dont think waiting a week will do much, it needed to launch before world ender, people will be playing till well into jan before boredom will start setting in.

I can deal with only one day. I want to play it live before my sub runs out so I can decide to extend it now or wait until Issue 20.

That is currently undecided.

Also, I have zero interest in beta testing any game, so I don't actually have it installed on my computer. I realize that is a self imposed limitation, and if that means I don't get to play issue 19 content before my sub runs out then I accept it as my own fault.

But I think delaying it a week because of WoW seems pointless. Also, that isn't in my best interest(which I admit is my primary concern).

And if you had been beta testing, you might have been the one to find the vital clue as to what's causing the Kheldian and Dominator bugs

I'll take the blame. Also, I decided my previous post was stupid. I want to play before I decide to remain subscribed between now and Issue 20, so I shouldn't be so damn stubborn and just get on the test server.

I don't beta test, so that when a new issue comes out, I can be sped through content by those that =have= beta tested. Who wants to read all that filler and see the details in new content? Not me!
