Speaking as someone who predominately plays villains, why should they get more exploration badges when they have fewer zones? (With the assumption that each zone regardless of side has the same number of badges, which is clearly what they're going for here.)

The Master of Tin Mage and Apex badges are Master badges that I can actually stand. Challenging tasks, but doesn't have the negative effects of the other Master badges.
The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.
personally I didnt think the shadow shard really needed badges in there. So much empty space to traverse for 8 badges, even with the jetpack is going to be a pain.

I have to reiterate that I am thrilled that they added exploration badges to the Shadow Shard. 
When I made my way through to double-check their locations, I really enjoyed the atmospheric text. Different areas in the Chantry and Storm Palace aren't just named after emotions for the fun of it.

has the official badge name as badge_tf_tinmage_complete.png but you show it as a Apex badge. This is why I question the information you have.

Seriously, does it matter what badge is given with what name attached? I mean, playng through the arcs, the images match correctly to each TF. Like BT said, the Battle Maiden spear image goes with the TF that Battle Maiden is in. The Neuron and Portal go with the Tin Mage TF.
It just seems people carry on over useless info and just either want to waste more time by having a dev rename or address something in the game files. (And yes, reading game files is still considered a no-no, especially when you're telling people in public "well, the game files say differently." "Permission" or not, you're not supposed to discuss the files within the game that you can access/read outside of the game.)
In other words: is it really all that important? Really? I don't see anyone making a stink over the ToT Costume badge names that they weren't renamed from the badges that they never even used in game.

All my pictures in my post are named random short names so i could upload them quick but yet they still are in the right section and representing the sections correctly. The name given by the devs is but a name yet the badge still smells as sweet.

Don't know if its been asked yet or not but will the vidiots map addon and the printable maps be updated and ready prior to issue 19 going live? I suspect those shadow shard exploration badges are going to be time consuming without a trusty map to look at hehe.

Whoa, a set of master TF badges where we don't have to min-max our team ahead of time to get?
We should do the same for the current Master badges by adding more badges to said TFs to get!
