Words aren't adequate right now. I lost my mother suddenly a few years ago so I understand.

I lost my mother 15 years ago to a sudden heart attack. It's never a good thing to lose a loved one suddenly. Best consolation I can offer is remember the good things with your mother.

I lost my mother to cancer 20 years ago.
Even though I knew it was coming (18 months) and tried to prepare, it is impossible to get ready for the loss of a parent.
I hope and pray that you find strength during this difficult time and that her memory shines on in you.

I am very sorry for your loss, Kheldarn. Like some others, I also lost my mother unexpectedly and have some small idea of what you are going through. Family, friends, prayer and time eventually got me past the tough times.

My mother suffered a severe asthma attack, and passed away. She was 54.
Shadow, please let Alvin and the Guardian forumites know that my mother passed away.
I'm going to have to take a trip to South Carolina to take care of things. I think it's going to end up being a combined effort of my aunt and myself. I have no idea when we'll be leaving, but I'll try to give a heads up before I go.
