I met a lot of very interesting people playing this game. Some of you I have even had the pleasure of meeting in person. Something that I really liked about this game was opening the door to meeting people that I would have NEVER met in my day to day life. I have enjoyed sharing the ups and downs of our every day lives. I also look forward to keeping in touch via that evil engine called FB.

Fair thee well to all the Heros and Villans of CoH. This was one great experience and i've enjoyed the ride...

Thanks for the shout out. I KNEW you were the perfect person for the Level 50 channel. Yes there is a little bit of truth in finding someone to replace me, however I would have asked you even if I was still playing all the time. You are a natural leader and it showed when you finally took flight and started to lead all of those I-trials.

I very much enjoyed getting to know you and playing the game. Best of luck to you in your next gaming adventure!

BUMMER, Looks like I will be missing out on your last Master run attempts. I wish all that make the league best of luck scoring your last Master Badges.

I will be in the hell of recert class for my Paramedic certification. I can tell you I would much rather be sitting at my computer playing than hearing about respiratory problems and treatments...

I hear you loud and clear. This was my first MMO and likely to be my last. I've tried a LOT of other games and none of them where able to capture me like COH did.

I had not really played much in the last 4-5 months but now there is a deadline..and i'm enjoying some old school play. No incarnate stuff...just classic AV arcs in PI!

I am friends with Kandy Krak aka @Nurse Misty on FB. They have been VERY happily married for a few years now. Misty's account got hacked and her passwords changed so she no longer logs into CoH. Rick aka @RickGibraltar logs in on occasion and I see him play under the free to play.

They MET here on CoH and became a Real Life couple. Pretty dam cool!

I will leave a invite to the level 50 global chat channel. It is a GREAT way to find teams. Most people get teams, trails and tf's by asking on the two primary global channels. Guardian channel is the other one, however they are maxed out.

Look forward to teaming. There is a core group of us that are DAY time players!

I must give Omega credit for this one, but a convo we were having brought it on. I am a new Boy Scout Merit Badge guru...there are 127 different badges A Boy Scout can do. I am going to be in charge of about 40 different ones. That's right ladies and gentleman.. VIXEN can approve badges.. OH and yeah.. BUG HUNTER is one of them (insect study!) ;-)

ANYHOW...

You may be a CoH addict when you pass by a Boy Scout Troop and think..I'VE got more badges than they do!

So I have to force log in..put in my pass word..get the server selection page..choose my server...than get THESE WORDS OF DOOOOM...

Wrong game version, run patcher and reconnect, server 2060.201108130612.1, client 2060.201108050059.1


I try to patch it..it gets to 25% than get the error message again. COH you BROKE MY GAME!

I listed you as the leader for these raids on the level 50 MOTD. I will be making them here n there...

One quick question..I was looking at the map... ummmm where is the "U Formation"?!?

Yeah DONT FAINT!! After playing the game over 5 years and having my tank for 3 years I finally got her to 50 in the last week. My inspiration for a fire/fire tank was how impressed I was with the damage output when I teamed with Servere.

What started out as a "challenge toon" over 3 years ago finally made it to end game. The Challenge toon concept was something that I brought up to a core group of players I teamed with all the time back then. The concept was simple. All of us had to make and play a AT that was opposit to our main's. We did the 5 primary TF's at level for xp. We did really great but than shortly after some of the players left. Anyhow the break down was..

Empath plays Tank (THAT's ME!!)
Tank plays Controller (@Busta Move)
Controller plays Scrapper (@Enigma Prime)
Blaster plays Controller (@Blizzack)
Blaster plays Empath (@Coolmite)
Blaster plays Controller/Fender (@Renegade Ranger)

I would like to thank Slacker, Havok11 and Botley for the final push. A huge special thanks to Botley for helping me with my end game build and slotting. You ROCK!!

For those that are counting that makes 19 50's for me. I am enjoying the tank so much that you can plan on seeing me on some I-trials!

I will help you help others to get this badge, but I too am in the BURNT OUT club on this trial. I will have a 2 possibly 3 run max that I will subject myself to. If you have a group of players that are not willing to listen, follow instruction and put their egos aside I will bow out. Just not worth the grief!!! I will watch and see when you try to run it. I'm out every 3rd day when i work!

HI there Badgers..

Wanted to wish you the BEST of luck on this. There is a group of us on Guardian that scored Master of Keyes. I would like to offer a little bit of advise. We scored Loves a Challenge and Avoid the Green stuff with 2 teams NOT 3. The coordination needed for those badges is HUGE. I can confirm to you that you CAN take down Anti-matter with 2 teams. I would also like to suggest VOICE communication is MANDATORY for these badges. You can not type out commands fast enough for what needs to happen. Everyone does NOT need a mic, just be able to LISTEN to what is being said. Have everyone make a bind "Distingrating on team X". For those not on voice hitting that quicky a few times gets the league "healers" attenton. Also someone calling it out over voice is helpful. For the people calling it out on voice they need to say their "toon name & team". I can tell you that as I was an EMP on this during the badge runs it helps. Your EMPS will be healing people off both teams. Another trick that will help you is knowing when the FREEZE time occurs (I can't remember the exact percents that AM freezes time off hand, sorry). The worst is having freeze time happen with the obilatration beam firing off (cause that does NOT freeze). Holding off attacks on AM when you know the OBIT beam is about to fire. We also found that when someone called out "beam 5 seconds" EVERYONE stopped attacking! That was critical for not being caught mid animation when the beam fired.

I hope these few gems help you in your quest. We did a LOT of runs with a core group of players to get these badges. Last saturday, we started at 2pm EST and finally scored the "loves a challenge" badge on the 5th trial at 930pm EST. Please note that this core group had done a total of 20+ trials before we got it down and the groove going right.

I will help you do these....ALSO next time you are on we will get you promoted to MOD status on the COP trial channel. I'm sure many people still have it and a good way to get the word out that you are going to lead one.

You take a 3 hour nap in the middle of the afternoon so you can stay up til after midnight to earn the master badges for the Keyes trial!!!

AWESOME way to go Guardians!! What I loved most about this..OTHER than beating Posi's dam mish...Was how everyone kept a good attitude. No one got grumpy. We all gave each other the 5-15 min breaks we needed to take care of the few little things around the house. OH, and the awesome players on that league! I can honestly say that it has been well over a YEAR since I sat at the CPU and gammed ALL DAY. (I ran a lam/baf and master STF in the morning before we started). Had a really great time. I'm looking foward to knocking out those other 2 badges and scoring Master of Keys. Wearing with pride my "Loves A Challenge".
