Although it wouldn't surprise me if you'd lost count of those.

My comments on today's CoP:
It was awesome having enough people sign up in advance to get all the spots claimed early. It really helped me out (I was able to start team placements an hour before the first CoP was run, ) by not having to assign teams 5 min before we intended to start. We'll see if the interest continues (specifically redside) or if it was more of a one time good showing. A LOT of new faces getting in on the action for the first time or having their first successful CoP. Good, good. Also were a fair amount that couldn't get in because we filled up. Signing up ahead of time is your best chance of getting in on one.
Also, this was the first time we've had level shift factor in on a CoP run. 14 out of 24 on the Blue CoP had it and 15 out of the 24 on the Red CoP had it. Pretty good, but personally I didn't notice its impact at all. Not what I expected, but we still did just fine.

I really don't expect much of a boost from level shift on this trial.
It was nice to see Stormy nearly defeated after just the first barrier drop though. We were so close this time!
I'm truly looking forward to seeing more new faces on the next run. For me, this is about giving everyone a chance to succeed at the trial, so it's good to hear people get excited when they do.
Some of the thanks needs to be directed toward all the veteran players of the CoP that graciously give up their time and their resources each time we do this, whether it is as a leader or just as a player. As one of the occassional team leads on the run, I have the opportunity to see and hear all the stuff that goes on before the run takes place.
I'm humbled that people continue to craft daggers, purchase HVAS's, and go through the Shivan runs in order to make this work for everyone, especially on characters that they have already completed multiple CoP runs with.
So from me and from all of the players who are looking for their first win on CoP...thanks.
Update - 1/16/2011: I'm making a slight change to the signup process for the CoP's. I'm no longer going to be creating individual forum posts for signups. Instead, I'd like for all signups to be done through in-game emails or tells to @Omega Shockwave. I figure everyone who will do the CoP will actually be on the game at some point and this will help get all of the signups kept in one place (makes it easier on me,
).

Issue 20 is now upon us and like many of you, I've got lots and lots of threads to collect.... so I'll be pulling back on the frequency of CoP's to once every 4 weeks. I've also decided to run 2 rikti raids every week and have moved everything up an hour.
I'm still doing everything I can to to shorten the time it takes to get these set up and going. Here's the best way.
- Show up on time when we gather to form teams.
- If you commit to a run, show up. I do take notes on that stuff.
- Let me know signup info ahead of time. In game emails to @Omega Shockwave work best.
- If you want to run the CoP, don't just plan on a spot being available. Let me know you'd like to run. If you aren't 100% that you'll be around, still let me know (but also that you might not be there).
- Don't make us wait for you to finish TF's/arcs/etc if at all possible.
- If not enough show up within a certain time I reserver the right to call off that week's CoP.

- Highly recommended: Grab the Shivan Shard (Bloody Bay temp power) and HVAS (costs 250 Vanguard merits in RWZ). These are VERY helpful during the trial.
