It's Rush...he's always looking for an angle. Most likely, he put in a backdoor access command into the bridge so that they couldn't lock him out, or he set up a timed-command that he has to answer otherwise it shuts down.
WTH was the Earth Controller ever allowed to stay with the ship? He doesn't seem to have anything to offer, other than being a complete jackass.

I got a phone call so I missed Teabag killing both Ellie's and Rush's Girlfriend. It must have been fast, I wasn't only gone a minute.
Teabag was in the shadows, Ellie walked by...phone...the preview for next week is playing.

I didn't think they'd actually kill her off. And so soon too. I mean, I had a feeling the relationship wouldn't last long but... this kinda irks me. It feels almost as if she was just thrown in there to be an 'omqwtfbbq' moment.

My money is on Eli setting up Grier for the killshot of teabag.
gin dead already? and i guess this kills both parties? way to give the characters a reason to live on to fulfill that all important mission...

Any thoughts on what Rush said Destiny's mission is? The main thing I would ask is how far away they are from actually completeling that mission considering how large the universe is.

there's way too much missing information. was destiny shot out in a random direction or a specific one? was a message decoded or only inferred? couldn't an ascended ancient that likes meddling in the affairs of humans just show up and say 'by the way, we were wrong. they are us, and we are them. good luck though.'
if the current logic trend remains consistent, then approximately 3 seasons longer than they have.

Eli lost a gril he only knew a short time. Rush lost someone he has known for quite awhile, the only person we the viewers have seen Rush treat as an equal. Teabag killed two people. Two people are going want a whole lot of revenge. My money is on Rush getting revenge.

On Tuesday someone told me they were still making the SG MMO, so I searched online and I was totally surprised that it was still in production.
I will have much satisfaction showing this article to that individual.

Its a First Person Shooter that I believe is using many of the art assets that were to be put into the MMO. At the time of the release I and many others thought Cheyenne Mountain (company making the game) released the FPS in order to get revenue to keep devolping the MMO.
Shortly after or before release of the FPS Cheyenne went into receivership (ie broke). Untill today I didn't know for sure that the MMO had been cancelled. I had just assumed it had.
And don't forget Greer, he's been itching for an excuse to off that guy since they met! And he has the will and skills to do it without a second thought.
So we can assume that Gin's body is dead and Rush's girlfriend's mind was in her body so does that mean the Gin died the same moment that her body died or is she trapped in Rush's girlfriend's body or are both minds trapped in the same body on Earth? We are either dealing with two dead girlfriends, one dead girlfriend and one live girlfriend, or some weird bodyswapping incident. I don't think that this type of death has ever been discussed before in Stargate with the communication stones. I would imagine that the Ancients would have some type of failsafe to deal with these problems unless Earth ignored those failsafes again.
