Just makes it quicker for you to get in once Issue 19 is live. The pre-download gets a good chunk of the data while your not waiting to play.

Exciting. Wasn't expecting the pre-download stage till at least the end of this month....

The pre-download means it shouldn't be too long now. Maybe the speculation about the 8th will be correct.
But yeah, they typically do this ahead of a big update so everyone won't be downloading all at once and so you won't have to wait to play once it does go live. You can cancel the pre-download if you like. It's not required like the regular ones.

Nonetheless, it does mean it's fairly close, which is good news.

I didn't get this at all, and I played till after midnight last night. The predownload started on a Saturday?

Does anyone elses DL after EVERY logout? My wifes dont, but every time i log out it starts to DL the patch.

Then I suddenly got the download again several hours later when I logged out. I have not had it happen again since, despite a few client restarts. I even closed it again and restarted my computer to test it one more time before posting this.

1. Castle didn't post that. It was said at the Meet-and-Greet thing on the 6th. Technically, you said that but it was really unclear the way you wrote it.
2. The 16th is the EARLIEST we could see I19. If there's any hitches, it won't happen until after Thanksgiving.

Logged out, and suddenly the updater is downloading 182MB... of what?
I've not seen this before. Does this usually mean anything?
