I can't have my money because I made too much!

So I listed a stack of 8 respec recipes at 250 million. And then this happened:

Well that doesn't seem fair. I'd contact support and send them that screenshot since it illustrates the issue perfectly. Hardly seems fair since once it takes the WW fee you would be back under the inf cap.

That's a bug they didn't consider, I guess.

The system was changed a while back. It used to be that you could claim inf that would put you over the cap, but any excess was just lost, which obviously has its own set of problems.

As other people said, petitioning is probably the best idea. GMs seem pretty helpful about WW problems.

I have this same issue atm. Unfortunately they havent been able to fix it in 4-5 months now. So I have 1 slot locked up with a sale over 2 bill.

It occurred because of the bug where sometimes you list an item but it would randomly shift to another stack of items in your list and post those instead. So I sold a larget stack of fairly valuable items that went over 2 bill ... by accident.

Now they were supposed to have a new type of command for GM's to be able to delete those market slots. Came with GR, but apparently what they made is broken too, and if they delete some of those locked up slots, they just come back on thier own, rofl.

So one less slot and 2 bill and change in limbo. They claim a proper fix will be coming i19.

*crosses fingers*

If/when the devs do fix this, they should keep the "Cannot claim inf" window, but then have it give you the inf when you click OK with another window that says "HA! HA! Just kidding!"

Flipped off more than you could chew?

This has happened before, the usual case being you bid 1.5BN for a PvP IO (or one that doesn't exist to store inf). You then bid the same amount again, it rolls the two bids together and now you have 3BN on one bid you can't claim back. Support will sort it normally.

LOL. That's too funny. Sry, just sayin. I'm sure they'll get it to ya, but funny never the less.

I forget: is the listed fee subtracted from that total already, or do you pay that when you claim? It seems the fee would push it under the cap and make it valid, if only the game could take it before granting the inf...

Also, that was worth a good laugh, just to see that.

I feel for you but that screenshot is, um, priceless.
