Waggro

"Wives or Girlfriends" would be WOGs. WAGs sounds like "Wives AND Girlfriends."
I'm not sure about the USA but here in the UK "WAGs" are "Wives or Girlfriends"

In which case, I would definitely attract more WAGGRO than I could handle.
It's a nice punny construction though, so I'll probably use it when the situation calls for "wife aggro."

The British media dubbed them WAGs as a kind of generic female accompaniment. The term you refer to is deemed highly racist in the UK - and would be unacceptable.
Quite why this is here I'm not sure tho.

Well I suppose in his case it could simply be w(ife)aggro, but yea probably safer to stay away.

Also you mean sexist yes? Not racist. Or is there more to it than just being female?

If it was Wives Or Girlfriends, it the acronym version would be a racist term.

A (highly offensive term beginning with W, ending with G and with a vowel that is not "A" that is referred to above) is, as late as the early part of the twentieth century, a person of African, Indian or Asian descent.

It is approximately as offensive as "the N-word" in the US.

I always interpreted it as W-Aggro aka Wife Aggro
I'm pretty sure that WAGgro refers to the actions taken by my forum avatar to convince me that a bit of frisbee would be a better use of time than CoH.
Waggro [wæ'-groʊ]
-noun
What the lolh34l0r gets when they charge into a new spawn with the Tanker where there are more enemies than the aggro limit.
Example: "u suk as a tank waaaaa!"
thirded, had a few pugs get wagro attrition, no double g though.
Perhaps SO-AGRO, or just drop the A for easier pronunciation for SO-GRO. Aggro from your SO. I don't think "sogs" or "soggies" is a racist insult anywhere.

I was just saying in the context I quoted it would most likely be intended as wife aggro and as a pun, but knowing WAG is a sexist term it's probably safest to just not use it in general.

I'm also still confused about people calling it a racist term instead of sexist though. I mean, it doesn't make it any less offensive to people or anything.

No no, the term with an "o" not an "a" is the racist term. A fairly old one and not often used in the US, much like blood clot.

Dr. Todt's theme.

Well, since when we're talking about them collectively, a group of "wives and girlfriends" means essentially the same thing as a group of "wives or girlfriends" -- in fact, it's probably better, consider a sentence like "Look at the cows and bulls over there" -- I don't know how the "or" got there in the first place. Using "and" entirely avoids the unpleasant acronym and any confusion non-UK posters like myself might cause.

It's WAGs because the term was applied to an entire teams worth of Significant Others. They are the Wives and Girlfriends of the players.

Simples.
I'm not sure about the USA but here in the UK "WAGs" are "Wives or Girlfriends" of footballers (sometimes extended to partners of other celebrities). There are many negative connotations to the term, i.e. money-grubbing, vacuous, bimbo, etc.
Today, there are some UK newspapers playing on the term, with "WAGGRO" plastered over the front page about some random person named Wagner trying to headbutt someone.
But I read this as meaning being "aggro from WAGs" or probably a specific "WAG", then was shocked no one had thought of the shorthand before
This new term must now be used to describe "real life aggro", "gf aggro", etc since it is far more succinct and helpful.
