Happened again. Refresh the Dev Digest and was logged out.

I logged in on a public computer earlier, and of course didn't click "Remember Me." As soon as the "Thanks for logging in" page went away, I was logged out. (-:
That check box really works!
I never had these kinds of issues with the forums when we first migrated to the new software. What's the deal? Yeesh.

I made a post in the Tech Issues thread about this. To sum up, it started happening on other vBBs about a month ago, maybe more.

Hasnt happened as often as it used to be for me but that might just be because i've gotten so used to it that i just automatically sign in again now

I thought it was something local wrong with my browser or a plug-in conflict of some kind. It's very annoying.

That reminds me... Since it seems to downright refuse your login, that might be what's causing the hiccup in the first place. Something or other that validates user credentials against user accounts is working goofily, which results in the usual "logged out" symptom, but only on occasion the "can't log back in" symptom.
Hey forum devs, check the code that matches user info with the user database. That's where the break is.
