I've been saying for a while about 10 days before your Thanksgiving (whichever Tuesday that is).
We have the Halloween and Rikti Events at the moment and coming up shortly.
Releasing i19 immediately before the Thanksgiving holiday is a monumentally dumb plan; something goes wrong and everyone is off shoving turkey down them. Hence my suggestion of the 7-10 day gap to give the major faux pas a time to emerge and - I hope - be sorted.

I19 is actually a "post retail expansion" Issue much like Issue 2 and Issue 7 were. Much of the content we are getting in I19 is arguably just 'leftover' things they couldn't quite squeeze into Going Rogue. Therefore it's realistically possible they'll have it ready to go before December because much of it has actually been worked on longer than normal content.
December 7th is a good "worst case" prediction for I19, but I still believe there's a significant chance it'll be ready before that.

The only problem with that is that, according to ParagonWiki:
06/29/04 - I1 Released
09/16/04 - I2 Released
10/27/05 - I6 Released
06/06/06 - I7 Released
There was a about a 2 and a half month gap between I1 and I2 (or 79 days), and almost an 8 month gap between I6 and I7 (or 222 days).
Granted, those were in the days when Cryptic was a small stuido, with only a handful of developers. Today, Paragon Studios has a lot more people, so there is a good chance that I18 will come out before my December 7 date.
In the end, as I always say, I'll let you know the exact release date the day it goes Live.

I'm holding back too. Or atleast only leveing up to level 8ish. I'm also trying my best not to completely blow off my elec/dark corruptor (who's not turning out according to plan).
Either way I hope I19 is soon, starting to debate cheacking out cataclym for WoW when it drops but I seriously don't want to drop the cash for it right now.
Also, in the article where they are talking about I-20 and I-21 didn't they say they were in extremely pre-alpha stages of I-20 or I-21? I can't remember the name of the site that had that article and I'm too lazy to look it up.... It's 1:44AM here, give me a break!

I too am excited for i19 and inherent Fitness pool, but I really don't understand why people are holding off leveling/making new alts.
Everyone gets the inherent fitness. Everyone will get 2 freespecs per character when i19 hits.
We all know how to play with/cope without fitness on lowbies. If you have a lowbie you're excited about making/playing, why not do it and pretend inherent Fitness isn't coming? Then respec them when i19 hits?
That's what I'm doing, I don't want to hold off on having fun until that issue hits :P
I am indeed waiting on a couple respecs, and have sworn off starting any more new alts until after the issue.

Talked to a mod a couple of weeks ago ingame in Pocket D on Virtue...they wouldn't give a date for the release, but..the mod /did say/ it would be before the holidays start because of their people going on vacation during the holidays. They want to make sure they have people on hand when the issue comes out. Therefore...before Thanksgiving.

That's certainly the assumption I would make when someone mentioned worrying about staff being on vacation for the holiday (Christmas/New Year). Most Thanksgiving vacations tend to be short term trips, rather than a couple weeks off for the end of the year. I cant recall ever taking more than 1 or 2 extra days off in October (Canada celebrates Thanksgiving early), but would consistantly take 2 or 3 weeks off for my winter holidays.

For me, I just don't enjoy respeccing.. If I can avoid it by not making any more alts, and playing any of the scores I already have, that's a good thing. Of course, it's also very unlikely. I'll prolly make more when I get the inspiration anyhow.
