True, but I don't think this old engine could handle something like an underwater zone. One of our competitors has it and it can't do it right even with a more advanced engine. the other competitor that came out on 1/11/11 pretty much doesn't have such a zone.

So I think SOME things could be done better here. Not all.

Yeah and you CAN already rez as the hosp with full health and end now. That's been fixed for a while now.

Hey, considering her arguement might give us a bioshock Rapture-esque zone, this is one moment where I'll accept golden girl logic.

see, i wouldnt, at all, a number of players just dont play tfs, i felt restricting cyclopses(ok no idea how to pluralize that) and minotaurs was a bad idea, and this would also be an unfortunate misallocation of art assets to cordon soemthign that qoudl require a whole new skeleton off in a small segment of the content, so i have to respectfully disagree with that part of your suggestion.

honestly, mmos rip each other off so often, who cares? there have been prehistoric lost world style comics since at least i was a kid reading them in the very early 80s the theme is quite appropriate for the comics genre.

Really, I thought it was very well done.
Depth of field-check, a nice sense of depth re: different stages and sinking down fathoms deep-check, a wibbly-wobblyâ„¢ distortion effect that is noticable but not restrictive re:combat - check. A swimming animation and bubbles streaming from your breathing.
I'm interested to hear what you feel isn't achieved convincingly enough for your tastes Aura.

What I felt was a missed opportunity for CoH was not to implement an underwater zone first. I'm sure a convincing one could now be achieved anyway what with Ultra-mode, and the Coralax have been in-game since Halloween 2005, you'd of thought an underwater kingdom of the Coralax could of been attempted in the last five years.

understood, those who think such things tend to be malcontents looking for something to complain about, rather than people who enjoy the game in the first place. examples of dinosaurs interacting with superheros exist in just about every major franchise, so really i give no credence to those who trump up that nonsense. no matter what you add, someone will have their ivory colored finery tainted by it, you have that with asian elements, you have that with monster or ultratech parts, sometimes you just have to go forward and trust the majority of your fans to be bigger people than those of small minds.

Please no more zones! Make original mission maps/areas in TFs and SFs. We have too many zones.

I would also LOVE to have some 'one-shot' TFs which involve different enemies etc. that we do not have anywhere else in game. We seems to have the same old groups we have seen/heard about for years.

Dude, we just got several new enemy groups and a number of new maps.

I think we don't have enough zones that are used to their fullest extent, thats the problem.
We have Boomtown, Perez, Creys, Shadowshard, Dark Astoria (and you could argue a couple more) that have not been touched in years and are ghost-towns on most nights (most populated EU-server: Union).

One could argue a possible cull, and / or reinvestment and reinvigoration of the content in those zones. The day we stop pushing for exciting enviroments being used to their fullest extent is the start of the apathetic slippery slope imho.

strangely enough, it would be some sort of airport zone. The idea here in addition to whatever missions specific to that zone, you would be able to go on mission where your sent all over the world, with specific tile-sets, and get a better glimps of the CoX world beyond the RI and PC. For example you may be sent to CoX Tokyo with the tilesets reflecting that.

Revamping the old hazard zones would also be good, as sort of incursion zones( and not PvP zones), you would have different factions with different story arcs with competing goals

the ones who care are just some players think to be pvpers. and its funnier the way it is now because you get to prove you are better than the other killing him twice while you have low hp. Anyway the way it is now , it was at the start of pvp but lets not stay at this. If a person thinks that we should go pre-issue13 pvp zones just to have low hp when we die in the hospital must be completely blind and doesnt know anything about pvp
