It depends entirely on your circle, and how long you've been around. If you were around years ago for instance, you'd say Little Unicorn, if you're newer than 3ish, never heard of her. If you listen to the Cape, you know the DJs name but if that isn't your thing, you'd never know who they were. Heck a good chunk of people would probably say Roxy Acetylene is but I'm not dumb enough to think that its any more of a small fraction of players on the server.

AKA Roll a Seethers, level them up as high as you can, and swarm different zones. At the last day, every Seethers swarms Sirens Call.

Despite the fact that I innately disagree with popularity threads like this I must say that there are very few characters I consider "Iconic" in this game, but I have to agree on one. Even though I don't know very much about the character and player beyond my own dealings with him, but what I have I respect his impact on this gaming community greatly.
Ascendants a great Character who has a vivid personality with a depth of character not shared by many other characters and the Eric alter-ego adds a great humility, humanity and great quirkiness to the character over all. Ascendant as a character is a familiar presence who inspires other heroes when he's around them to be on their best or worst behavior. Not to mention the player seems like a genuinely nice guy, and possibly the only person I couldn't get mad at for standing Seri up though I always feel bad because he always seems so busy and distracted that I hate bugging him

A server being composed of several social circles, not all of whom get along with eachother in any sense of the word a thread like this is doomed to be a popularity contest *********** from the word go.

Even Ascendant. He is only known to part of Virtue. The other part have no clue who he is and other servers certainly don't care.

Who are the Icons of Virtue? I don't mean Icons as the Tailors, I mean who are the characters that you think are special to Virtue. Be they famous for...something... or memorable, and/or make Virtue what it really is: the BEST server in City of Heroes.
Make a list and post it. Comment. Do whatever. Here is some examples of who I think deserve to be recognized here:
1. The Cape Radio.
- All the DJs on this amazing station deserve to be listed here, but instead, I'm just going to list them as a whole. They are truly a mainstay in Virtue.
2. Ascendant
- How can he not make this list? He's hilarious, and even has a badge! Truly a great one if there is any.
3. Arbiter Fabulous.
- I mean, come on. He's FABULOUS! For those that have not had the pleasure of meeting this character, or the player of his character, I say to you you should. He's definetly one of those characters in Virtue that make it a cut above the edge, remind us that we can have fun and still be serious.
That's just 3 I can think of, but I know there are many many more.
