Thanks a ton to @Canadian Medbot, who got me in tonight. I celebrated by burning a quick billion, and it looks like (for the moment) we're back to #13 again. Woohoo! The toasty warmth of burning inf is so comforting on a cold Autumn evening!

For what it's worth we may be seeing an influx of join requests thanks to ScooterPuff's (an apparent nickname of his) marketing efforts on our behalf. Hopefully folks will want to contribute to the heart and soul of the 88s.

Scooter is everyone's best recruiting tool (in both senses of the word). Sad part is he probably doesn't even realize it.

A bit off topic here, but I have to confess that I'm a bit disappointed and
rather surprised that only one of the 88'ers has shown any interest in the
Shield Wall I'm auctioning in this thread.
The proceeds from the auction are going into the 88's Inf-cinerator, just as
your donation would, except you get a nice shiny to show for it.
As I mentioned, I'm pretty surprised that only one person seems to want one
of the top trinkets in the game...
Anyway, give it some consideration, bidding closes Sunday.

If I hadn't been lazy the past year or so and I had 40 billion lying around I'd totally burn a heap on Granny's Trinket! =P

One of my niches collapsed too.....I'd been making 400M a day on it and now its recipes have risen enough and enhancers fallen enough that I could only make about 50M a day on it (assuming same volume.....might only get 1/2 since its a "fight for niche" and thus 25M).
Hopefully we're not in the same collapsed niche. Maybe the '88s should have a secret place to post what we're working so we don't crush each others stuff. Of course then maybe we'd actually be ebil.

Also, if you play on a less than stellar PC (my HD went on the laptop... yay!) you can lag it out and things seem to magically die all around you!
