In case you missed - let rampant speculation begin!
Also, as I said in the thread, I think some pools will become extremely popular:
Concealment - 1 slot stealth, 1 slot invis, 1 slot phase shift = 3 slots for LoTGs
Leadership - 1 slot assault (who wouldn't want more damage), 1 slot tactics (slot it with just the +perception and leave it off), manuevers / vengeance - 2 slots for LoTGs
Flight - grabbing 1 slot air superiority for just the ability to flip bosses, 1 slot hover is pretty darn good, 1 slot flight for some vertical
Lots of possibilities...
The possibilities are swirling in my head. Assuming Stamina doesn't get nerfed to compensate, this could allow for some crazy slotting possibilities. Even if I don't have any extra slots(cuz I still use them in Health and Stamina) I'm not opposed to essentially three free slots for IO mules.
Ever since I heard about this, I've been thinking about how this will change my current and future builds for my characters. Hopefully the inherent will be slottable to the equivalent of Stamina as it is now, or at least in some way gives equivalent +Recovery.
Even if I spend slots if it does end up being a slottable inherent, that's still another open pool and opens up the possibilities of one-slot-wonders.
Not to mention I can pick up powers earlier where I'd normally be paying my dues in the teens to getting Stam at 20. It'll be interesting when this rolls around.
Oh, good grief. I didn't need a buff, and I LIKED having to make serious trade offs in an uber build. And yeah, it's going to suck if they're unslottable.
But I suppose it panders to the unwashed masses.
(OK, I WILL appreciate it leveling up to 20. But that's such a small portion of the game.)

Hmmm.. too many possibilities.. but lets hope we can still slot stamina. Couple that with the Alpha slots.. NICE!

That's going to be nice on a few of my characters - I'll take stuff I currently don't like one-slot passives or maybe click rezzes I scuttled to make room. I might grab something to mule special IOs in. But overall I don't see slottable inherents moving high-end balance much in general.
Unslottable would be a major downgrade shift in high-end regen and recovery due to loss of the most standard places we slot Miracles, Numina's and Performance Shifter.

Well, if we can still slot them (and we damn well better be!) you are going to have three more powers but no slots to spare for them.

This. As long as they are slottable, then I am all for this. Exciting new build permutations are already simmering...

Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
I recall hearing something about Incarnate levels giving you more slots. If I'm remembering correctly, then you will have the slots for them

So unless that design changes, we still won't have the slots.

I think we will be able to. They'll likely unlock like Hover does for Peacebringers; at a set level and with a slot(Swift/Hurdle at 6th, Health at 14, Stamina at 20).

Making them unlock at 1 would have a lot bigger effect on general morale, IMO, but I can totally see them working as you suggest.

Man, I am going to need to rebuild every character I've got... and I'm an Altaholic!
Now... here's a curious thought... if they take one power pool away, will they be adding a new one in?
-This Space Intentionally Left Blank.-
That's what I envisioned also. There are some folks speaking of them as if they appear at level 1, but I don't know if that's supposition or based on Dev comments at PAX.

The most interesting part about this (to me) is what is going to happen to all the characters with fitness already? Will they be replaced by a new fitness pool with different nifty powers? Or a respec would fix the issue, of course.
My guess is they unlock anywhere from level 1-4 and scale up as you level(possibly becoming full strength level at 20), much like travel powers and and mez protection.
If Stamina doesn't unlock until 20 then that does nothing for the low level game, and I'm assuming those complaints at least played a factor.
You know all of these awesome power changes have me worried. There is always a trade off for increased power effectiveness. What are the enemies going to be like in the future? Are we going to be fighting hero class enemies every spawn, are they going to have insane debuffs? There is always bad that has to come with good. The piper must be payed some how!

If they make it so it's inherent...and in speculation they take AWAY the slots... Whats happens to the IOs etc that are already slotted? Inquiring minds want to know.

Short Story I did: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=228383

It's pretty good news, and will bring many more possibilities for characters with really tight builds (/SR, /WP, /Elec scrappers... when you have to take almost every secondary picks are good examples).
I'm pretty sure Fitness as inherents will be slottable, that would not make sense otherwise and it would be a massive nerf for max level toons, very unlikely to happen. The question is rather : what will happen to your already built toons with slotted hurdle/health/stamina when the patch goes live ? Probably the build would not change until a respec, and then once you respec they go inherent ...
Anyway, it confirms the recent very animated threads we had about "endurance issues", and it seems the devs have read, made their choice and decided to add some QoL to that matter. I can only applaud.

Either you'll have to respec toons to get them as inherents OR quite possibly, you'll keep the powers, and get the inherents (I'm thinking you'll beable to slot it), sooo you can have both untill you respec.
This can mean that you'll get additional END/Regen if you don't respec, but personally, I think most would do the respec for the added powers (maybe not 100%, but a large enough majority) as I know I would on every concept, as I want additional concept powers!

My guess, you won't be able to slot Stamina, and it will be as effective as it is now with no slots. Physical perfection popped up in the epic pools.....hmmm....me thinks they gonna say that due to IO sets end discount and more end available in the epic pools, that a free Stamina power with no slots is fair, considering we can now pick 3 new powers. Tho for me, that will only free up 2 more slots tho...since I only ever slot stamina with 2 extra slots, and nothing for anything else in fitness. If you ask me, we will have 3 new picks to take, but no slots hardly for them! unless we get to pick 3 slots instead of 2 earlier than the 30's.
Overall, I don't like the idea at all! I think something is up and we will not like what they do with it. Like someone else said, there will be a trade off for such a nice perk! lol
Based on tweets from folks at the event, it sounds like existing characters will be unchanged until they respec. From that I infer that after a respec you automatically get the inherent powers (presuming you meet any hypothetical requirements, like level).
