Water Spout + Hibernate for teh lulz?

It seems to me that Water Spout should be quite a nice tool for AV soloing, but haven't got around to checking it out. Might even get that for my FM/SR at some point along with Hibernoob...

Totally. Awesome.

Man I'm looking forward to this, slotting challanges included. Looking at leadership to bring more to a team for my Claws/WP scrapper. Between Stamina + Quick Recovery, he should be able to handle the end drain. Plus the Gaussian's: Chance for Build Up will be awesome in tactics.

I'm still not completely sure what I'll be doing with my characters.

Medicine seems quite appealing for my Kat/Inv who could then easily pass off Dull Pain as perma capped HP, and between his decent Regen, Defense and Resistance he'd be even tougher than he is now. I could also pick the ST taunt from Katana, something I've been wanting, but never been able to fit in...

The set is awesome, but not the proc. The proc contributes +2.625% damage over time, but that's just a buff to base damage, so probably barely over +1% on a finished build. It's like picking up a so-so damage set bonus. Not saying it's a bad thing, but it doesn't blow me away either.

I had always just used a Yin's endurance reducing enhancement in my attacks and toggles at level 10 to cover the pre-stamina blue-bar-blues so this isn't that big of a deal in that regard, but having the freedom of three more power choices along the way is sure going to be nice. Now with this change, added to the recent accuracy increase, I can slot Yin's damage enhancements in the pre 20 game and be even more lethal on the new alts.

My tight builds will still be tight. As others have stated: the high-end game is more about slots than power abundance. This IS a huge QOL feature and will afford some nifty choices to garnish toons, but performance-wise not earthshattering. Great move, Devs.

I figure most people know that this change isn't for the veterans at all, but most likely done to help with the new players that they've garnered with GR. Now that there's new low-level content, they're looking to make that content a little less of a drag in the way it's always been mentioned.

I like it, especially since I like to take swift and hurdle for my characters just for the small boosts to maneuverability. I'll be one of the people with four new power picks.

Soft cap to S/L/E/N with one in range maybe? And 40% to F/C. And no need for conserve power. And that is before anybody else has looked at it with a fresh set of eyes.

I'm very interested how this will turn out. And jealous.

You probably have a point there... Now my guys would probably have 4 common Pool Powers... Fighting, Speed, Jumping and Leadership. Medicine might make an appearance now and then.

320+% regen on top of SL on a perma cap HP

I may post it eventually.

My head almost exploded at the news. The crazy stuff I've done on my dm/inv and now they want to give me free Stamina? Don't mind if I do!!

It wouldn't be a new Issue without at least a token nerf in Regen's direction.

To add insult to injury, many people will probably grab Aid Self too. They've basically given everyone the chance to have 3/8s of the Regen Set now. All we need next is to give everyone a free small orange and a level 2 Revive and all we'll have left are DP, Int and IH.

Like Werner - my favorite part of this game is the near infinite complexity of the builds and the challenge of fitting together all the puzzle pieces into something special. I think this change is actually quite excellent. Stamina is a necessity for nearly every build. And with it health and swift/hurdle. It's a much simpler puzzle if you already know 3 of the 24 pieces. This change now makes it harder to be completely satisfied with a build - which I think is fabulous. And add to that all the possible villain powers. I'll be spending as much time thinking about builds as playing the game. Hats off to the developers!

I also agree that it is odd to speak of any change like this making the game "easier". This game can be scaled to be as hard as you wish it to be. But it's a much better game experience for me at any level of difficulty if my hero duck has flight and waterspout instead of health and stamina.
