Curious to when these guys were added to the Freakshow cast, unless these came out with i18.

Ergh, I hate these guys on my F/F Tank. Their end drain is almost as bad as Sappers, and they're a lot harder to kill being bosses.

Their rez is the worst. Saps ya and debuffs recovery. It works like the dark armor rez and as far as I can tell they use it every time.

I try to finish em on my scrapper by jumping back and nem staffin' but that doesn't always work.

I haven't fought but a few but each time was a disaster. My storm defender never used O2 Boost so much in one mission!

Anyone have any tips for fighting them? Things to watch out for? Any idea how far you have be away from the rez before it goes off and how long you have to do it?

Would estimate the rez's range at around 40ft (possibly more), and breaking LOS doesn't do anything to help.

I thought Consume granted end drain protection now

It does. I'm not sure how much, but I think it's per foe and minimal. If only the boss is left, you'd have some trouble.

I was playing my Kin/Elec Scrapper when I ran into these guys, Static Shield doesn't seem to be enough and for whatever reason, Grounded isn't giving End Drain resistance according to real numbers.

I don't *think* anyone is saying they are bad, I certainly wasn't. I was just curious if anyone has come up with a good generic strategy for dealing with them when playing a melee AT. Even knowing what their powers do and what if anything to watch out for would be good. I haven't encountered them enough time to know more than "omg kill him quick from range!"

The self res has a heal (per player in range) and everyone in range gets a recovery debuff for the next few seconds. I don't know how significant- I hovered over it once, saw that it WAS a recovery debuff, and I think I saw "-0.34" but there was a lot going on at the time. They also have a PBAOE lightning field of some sort, possibly an immob and hold too. I think they've pretty much got Elec control powers.

So you think you're a hero, huh.

Yeah, I'm not familiar with the electric control set yet. All I know is that I can stay way back from the rez, and I seem fine but as soon as I move back into battle my endurance suddenly disappears - well after his rez. Maybe it's the debuff stacked on top of using powers or maybe it's some other power he's using.

They used to have an xp bonus??

As for the Super Stunners, I like them. Sure they drain me dry, but I like the added challenge to a once non-challenging enemy group.

It could be conductive aura - nasty thing for them to have, but being a boss that would prevent stacking scenarios. It's electric control's -foe end/self +regen, +recovery toggle

Aye, and it used to be quite hefty (+20% more for Minions, and around +50% more for bosses?)

That coupled with the fact that they were incredibly easy, and rezzed was why so many people loved killing them..

They still need to hit with it right?

The more people I meet, the more I'm beginning to root for the zombies.

it's auto hit, from what I can tell.

Imagine your dark armor scrapper being defeated, having one badguy in range, using your rez, but missing. LULZ

Anyway, it's more than -recovery. It does a significant amount of damage and drains about half of your endurance without any end drain resistance. I'd say it's a bit much, but then I'd get chewed out by those that want the game harder.

Pinny - Scrapper
Shadewing - Defender

LOL

I'd give you rep if we still had it.

Fortunately it's easy enough to avoid them by just turning bosses off when they start getting on your last nerve. I kind of like the challenge they present if it's like 2 in a mission, not so much if they are showing up in every spawn.
