Goblin queens won twice in a row... Maybe there should be a rule against such a thing? Being left out of the competition for a week+ if you win?

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

I scrapped my earlier submission, in favour of this one.

Technically, it hasn't been twice in a row. Matt King won last week, as selected by ShadowWings.

Like the costume overall, but I think you've got some things backwards. His SKIN isn't nanites, it's the costume, so he still has normal skin color, and the toon IS the praetorian version, i'm not looking for a praetorian version.

Ahh, that'll teach me to skim over the details!

Would I be able to retract my earlier attempt in favour of one that I prefer?

Yeah. Just edit the original post (so there's no confusion).

I had asked Naz a while back about entering the contest again after winning the first week and he said there were no restrictions and I could enter every contest if I wanted. And as Naz said, I didn't win last week. If you're going purely by the blog it may not show the winners yet from last week but they're visible in this thread. With all that being said, however, I will not enter this week. Seems counterproductive when the judge of this week's contest brings up me not being allowed to enter.

Ah well! Thanks, Naz. I really enjoyed the challenge this past week, it was the hardest yet! Thanks everyone for the comments, all of the entries were great designs as usual. I really like these contests as they get me out of my normal costume making rut and make me think differently on how to put something together. I never would have created anything from the last three weeks for my normal day to day playing but now I would consider using these type of costumes for new characters, it's rather cool.

Oh, no, join if you like. It wasn't aimed directly at you, but anyone who did so, GO for it! I'm actually looking forward to it, after seeing some of your other costumes. Was just wondering if it was against the rules, as if you look at some of the Dev contest, if you win the week before you can't win the next week.

Doh. I completely missed the fact that there was yet another link in that link.

So, without further delay (if any delay) heres a new battle ready, nanite active, ready to go all cybernetic on your butt, glowey outfit, and one thats more mild mannered, everyday citizen of Praetoria look. I guess you can choose which is which!

Hi all, just been away for a week or so, so missed the Air-Walker contest which is a shame, looked like a good one

Here's my first costume for Terminal Velocity, it's a full on nanite armoured version, my understanding being that through his control over the nanites he can moderate how armoured he appears to be. I'm just working on the second costume that will hopefully show a different facet of this character.

Again, it's NOT TV, it's his praetorian counterpart.

Um, but it's for you, right?

And your name is Terminal Velocity, right?

Have a couple. The first one is a more armored version of the character. I figure you could use it as him gaining better control as he levels lets him learn to shape the nanites or something along those lines. Anyway, here's that one in a pose overlooking Praetoria.

And the second is more of a silvery-aged version. I liked the simplicity in the original costume, so I basically attempted to keep this one simplistic as well.

Here we have the profile shot:

And then an action shot similar to the first one, of him overlooking the city.

Personally, I preferred the second costume, despite it being chromatically challenged.
