  2. Looking across the first page, I see 3-4 BS/SD help threads, however, they are either a few days old, or have moved subjects. So here is my first complete attempt at a build. I feel like it is about as messy and ineffective as if a blind person click randomly around the screen and came up with this.

    The goal with this, is to be able to tackle more AoE situations rather than the solo AV killer. Here goes...

    Edit: I know I farked up one of the slots on Weave.

  7. Here is my take. I tried to keep it as sleek as possible, while still giving a sort of techy-feel. Whether it worked out or not, remains to determined.

    It's really hard to tell, but there is an aura on the gloves, I tried to get the dark powers that you use to seep out of the devices that utilize them.

  11. It was more how far off the mark I was. I tried to deviate a little and stand out, but it backfired, and I knew it.

    Anyways, I made a costume for this next one, but I liked it so much I made a new character with it. >.> So back to the drawing board.

  13. I've been playing CoH off and on since it was released, and every time I take a hiatus and return, I am still blown away by some of the creativity of the players. So, in this thread, post a hero/villain that caught your eye. It could be the backstory, or the costume or even how well everything 'clicked' on their character.

    Note: This is not a "Well I teamed with X, and they were mighty skilled at Y." And this is not a plug for your OWN character.

    So here is mine:

    There has been a blaster bouncing around the past couple days by the name of Vanguard Flame. I've seen her in SC and TI, and every time I have seen her, I think "Wow, that is an awesome costume, it's simple, but still looks like a decent amount of time was put into it."

    If/When I see her around I'll ask if I can't get a screenshot to show you guys.

  14. I am just starting out in base designing with what I have to work with, and I have noticed that the disappearing floor trim is really starting to look tacky.

    Is there any way to get around this besides moving items away from the wall a bit, or get the trim IN doorways?
