i turned my grav/energie dom in a pure engine of AoE destruction
first time i take whirlwind hand of my life, but with fireball and rain as a back up, i'm now a pure ST and AOE monster

i tried it with my fire/psi, and honnestly i'll suggest to anyone taking ice instead cause in fact, FB and RoF and psi scream and PSW is overkill. you and up loosing time by choosing which one you will throw in the mob face as they all are up very often ^^'

that's all ^^


(the important part is still that
nowwith RoF and FB, even energie will now contribute well in team AoE wise. that plus it's ST target damage potential makes energie one of the most balaced set (with earth assault maybe) and that is enough to deserve a thread IMHO)

I hear ya! My plant/fire dom is 30% better now thanks to the new epics. He was awesome before, but wow!
I took Fire mastery since it benefits so well off of Embrace of fire.

I have a lvl 50 plant/fire/fire dom and a lvl 50 fire/ice/ice dom.

My dom has more control AND more damage than my blaster!

So I just made a mind/fire dom a few days ago for GR, is it really true that I'm gonna do more damage than a Blaster?

No.

Second for second Blasters will always pump more Damage per activation out than a Dom.

However with the ability to pick up even more AoE attacks with APPs and generally getting good Single Target attacks in the Assault sets Dom's ability to do damage is quite significant now. Some might express the opinion that Dom's damage is too good considering they get a Control set as well (and that control set is absolutely devastating when Domination is up).

Yeah, I don't really see all the new APP's staying the way they are for long.

Yeah I can see Rain of Fire getting the recharge increased and Sleet getting the -res toned down with hopefully a damage boost to compensate. It always irked me that it's apparently OK for other ATs to get equivalent powers in their Epics better than the regular version in my Dom's secondary *cough* Fissure *cough*..

Not to mention, I think Ice Storm works better on my Brute thanks to Fury. I definitely think it's time for a bit of normalizing all the way around.

Oh yeah. Having Sleet being a straight port from the Corr version is waaaay OP. If(when) they nerf it, I do hope they still give it respectable numbers and not something completely useless.

For the time being, I'm going to level up my Mind/Fire like a boss so I can experience Sleet before the devs hit it.

Hoe is Mind/Psi/Psionic?

I am trying to figure out the best route both conceptually and numerically.

I have a Mind/Psi/Leviathan and from that I took Bile Spray and Water Spout, would gameplay improve taking the Psionic Mastery APP?

Actually, no, you didn't. Sleet, and a few of the other rains have the default Recharge time of the normal versions of the powers.

Any other changes you'd like to share? I'd like to know the APPs/PPPs are finalized before I spend the time to pick them up.

P.S. Did you fix hibernate for Scrappers in the PPP? PFF for Controllers in the PPP? Fixed the MM sets without Shields in the APP?

Not only this, but just about every PPP hold is worse than the APP equivalent, are these things that will be looked at eventually?

To be honest, if it remains in its current position as the 3rd Tier power in the Dark Mastery APP - it *should* offer an advantage over the 1st Tier version available in the Soul Mastery PPP. Having to get two *other* powers in the set first just to unlock it might warrant a reason for offering lower recharge.

Unless the difference in Tiers between the APP set and the related PPP set was an error...
