Ok, I had to do a second look at your post. Did you say Dolph Lundgren and good acting in the same sentence?

I'll be seeing this movie soon, likely this weekend.

It was on Spike on Saturday. It was a good warm up film. When we got back to my place, Conan and Predator.

That shotgun is frigg'n awesome - imagine my delight when I found one in Modern Warfare II! During the regular game I didn't get much chance to use it, but on the museum level I tried to blow away everything that could die or break

Semi-serious question: is there any reason whatsoever a woman would want to see this movie? The testosterone in this thread's a bit over-powering at the moment.

To see manly men perform many great acts of manliness?

Oh I know, there's that scene where Mickey Rourke's character tells a sad story and sheds some manly tears when only the audience can see his face.

I'm a chick, and I fully intend to see this film. But I already have a documented case of higher-than-average testosterone, so I'm gonna be right at home at this movie.

  • If you are a woman who loves/likes 80's style action flicks then YES.
  • If you are a woman who does not like/hate 80's style action flicks then NO.

I have yet to meet a woman who saw the film that did not like it. I am sure there are but none that I know personally.

If you are a woman with a crush on Stallone, Statham, Lundgren, Li, or Crews, then YES.

My girlfriend wanted to see it because she has the hots for Stallone. What can I say, she likes italian stallions. She loved the film.

Arnie and Willis only have cameos, and they're fully clothed throughout. I wouldn't suggest someone buying a ticket just to see them.

If you have the hots for Stallone, though, you get a lot of him shirtless and kicking ***.

Also, Rourke, as well as exposing his chest, very nearly drops his pants. His low-riders are set far enough down that we can tell he's not wearing undergarments.

There's also a poem! Written by a man! For another man!

Okay, so the poem ends with a knife flying through the air, but still... poetry!
