Ditto. I've been under the assumption that there is/was a complete info blackout during the beta, and everyone is hard at work. News out of nowhere, claiming to have been announced already makes me go huh? Looking at facebook there are frequent updates, links, stories, and articles on the game? What? Facebook... well, to be nice, sucks. I hope some of this stuff starts making it back to where it belongs, and where people interested in the game would be looking...

This also happens to be the name of a brand-new signature character who you'll meet very soon in GOING ROGUE. For those of you who haven't already seen the concept art we revealed yesterday, here it is. Enjoy!

Well good! Me too. I'm pretty dang excited about it, and that's why I made a point to post it here for you.

That Noble Savage character is all six different kinds of cool Interestingly, that's a lot like what I imagined the Mutant Booster pack would be, even complete with an ALMOST lion face if you squint hard enough

Good to have you on board Dav... I mean, Noble Savage, Sir!

the better question, is if whether this "Noble Savage" ever sleeps >_>

the cyborg foot part looks like resistance tech. does that point to Noble Savage as being leader of the resistance?

Real nice look David. It looks like you took a bit of Fallout 3 into your design.

First off, I think Noble Savage is a great looking character! Screams for more info though!!
I had asked in another thread...
I was curious if Noble Savage is one of the characters that was nearly cut from Going Rogue, until you all found a way to get him back in?

You said you really loved those particular characters and were excited to be able to fit them back in... If your new namesake is one of them... that's all sorts of cool

Either way... *thumbs up*

And we're extremely jealous of all your asymmetrical parts... but it's okay... we understand (mostly)

My guess is that this is what became of Ironsides/Melee, Maelstrom's old partner from Ultimatum. Perhaps he fell in with the Resistance while his old partner teamed up with Emperor Cole.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that Noble Savage is a mess.

Could've gone with any character name, really, but this guy was one of my personal favorite things to come out of GR character-wise, and no one had a claim on the name yet...so yeah, dibs.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

I love that game--which part(s) remind you of F3?

What are you doing still up? It's 1:23 am pacific time, on a weekend!
Get some rest, you. I'm sure your hand's steadier after a good night's sleep.

Hm -- personally, I could see that picture of Noble Savage seeming similar (Ugh, I hate having those two words together. Why is that?) to a Super Mutant wearing scraps of power armor. Maybe scraps of Fallout 3 alien clothing in there, too.

Great game.

I know the question was not for me... but I cannot help thinking of Super Mutants (size and color) as well as style... tech survivor of wasteland.

Seems I have quite a way to go until I have a hope in hell of ever working in Game Art anytime...

Whats the secret, David? =/

Works for me. Wasn't thinking of Super Mutants at all while drawing him, but who knows where artistic ideas actually come from, right? Maybe I was subconsciously channeling some of the same influences they were looking at.
