It's even better that you can glee-mail between your own Heroes and Villains, because Lord knows my Vills need a bailout (My richest hero=over 760 million on hand, WITH a completed IO build. My richest villain=over 40 million on hand with SOs)
You must be doing it wrong. My richest villain has over a billion and I have almost that again spread out over my other 5 lvl 50 villains.

That's all from regular play. Missions and SF's. I don't play the market and the times I've joined a farm team (from friends or SG) can be counted on one hand.

My sole lvl 50 hero (2 years old) that I almost never play is on SO's and has just under 200 million in storage. He's keeping that handy for when I finally get around finishing my PB to lvl 50.

And it's not as if I play that much. Some weeks it has been 10-20 hours, true, but others it was just 1-2 hours, and there have been a few streches of time over the past 3.5 years that I haven't played at all.
I have to admit that I don't do purple or pvp sets. Other than that all my villains have more than decent slotting.

My point being: Infamy/influence isn't hard to come by in this game. If it is for you you're doing something wrong.

Anyway, I'm glad to see these change. I hope it stabilizes some of the more outrageously manipulated salvage prices.

That it would be silly to place expensive items for auction at that point unless you were certain of selling them before the deadline.

So your solution is to tell people to stop playing the game until the expansion is released. Brilliant. (Yes, I know it's not the entire game. It still happens to be a part of core functionality that you seem willing to have broken for two months).

Since that kind of thinking is clearly *not* from anyone who's going to run a successful MMO, any chance of a real response to the question?

With all the doom flying around about the latest booster pack and market merge excuse me if I feel that I need to boldly state my opinion as well.

It seems as well "dog" (that IS goofy is it not?) that you didn't understand my post as well. I just agree that that markets should merge, just like you disagree about the merge. How about we agree to disagree and leave it at that.
You should stop before you really dig yourself a hole you can't get out of. If you don't know what My Bad means, there's no hope of getting through to you either way. Sorry if you're that out of tune with the rest of the world. Perhaps getting out into the real world once in a while would help.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

I just hope that everyone predicting one way or the other in terms of supply/demand/prices resulting from the merger will give it a few days before slinging "I told you so"s around.

It will probably take a bit for everything to settle, considering we have to re-list everything. Take Kinetic Weapons for example... ~10000 listed blue-side. Assuming a maximum of 20 stacks of 10 per character, that's at least 50 characters that need to be logged on, taken to the market and re-list all 20 stacks. It. will. take. time.

days?

try months.

even the (relatively) minor disruptions of a generic 'new issue release' take weeks to subside.

A history wipe would cause major disruption.
A merger would cause major disruption.
A new expansion would cause major disruption.

And we're getting all three at once.....WHEEEEEEEEEE!

Hmm, so does this mean I can mail recipies back and forth, villian to hero side? If so, there are a few...things that I'll need to procure as they are much cheaper on one side as compared to another.
