I’m not going to talk about City of Heroes today. I’m not going to take a question about the game. I’m going to talk about this thread right here. Anybody hasn’t read this thread — I don’t read it, but it was brought to me by a SG leader with n00bs. Think this is worth reading.
I want to talk about this thread. Three-fourths of this is inaccurate. It’s fiction and this thread embarrasses me to be involved with superheroing tremendously. That thread had to have been written by a person that doesn’t have a n00b and has never had a n00b that’s had their heart broken and come back to the SG base upset! And had to deal with the n00b when he is upset! And kick a person when he’s down!
Here’s all that n00b did! He avoids AE farms. He is respectful to the moderators! He’s respectful to the players! And he’s a good kid, and he’s not a troll and he doesn’t deserve to be kicked when he’s down.
If you have a n00b someday, you’ll understand how it feels. But you obviously don’t have a n00b. I do. If your n00b goes down the street and somebody makes fun of him because he accidentally stole aggro in a pickup sewer team, or says he’s got a Huge body type, and he comes home crying to his SG leader, you’d understand. But you haven’t had that.
Someday you will and when your n00b comes home, you’ll understand. If you want to go after an SG member — one of my SG members — you go after one who doesn’t do the right things! You don’t downgrade him because he does everything right and may not play as well on task forces! And you let us make that decision!
That’s why I don’t read the forums! Because it’s garbage! And the troll who let it come out is garbage! Attacking a n00b player doing everything right! And then you want to write threads about players who don’t do things right and downgrade them, the ones that do DPS.
Are you kidding me? Where are we at in society today? Come after me! I'M A MAN! I’M LEVEL 40! I’m not a n00b! Write something about me! Or the other SG leaders. Don’t write a n00b that does everything right, that’s heart is broken, and then say the SG leaders say he was scared! THAT AIN'T TRUE! And then to say that we made that decision because Jack Emmert threatened to transfer! THAT'S NOT TRUE!
So get your facts straight! And I hope someday you have a n00b and somebody downgrades them and belittles them and you have to look them in the eye and say, "You know what? It’s OK."
They are supposed to be mature players but they’re really not. Who’s the n00b here? Who’s the n00b here? Are you kidding me? That’s all I’ve got to say. It makes me want to puke.

General: The forum is heavily modded and carries a flamepower greater than half the boards. It's bans are designed around a direct, large-scale trolling. A small one-line poster should be able to penetrate the outer bans.

General: Well, the Studio doesn't consider a small one-line poster to be any threat, or they'd have tighter moderation. An analysis of the plans provided by Princess Arcanaville has demonstrated a weakness in the forum. But the approach will not be easy. You are required to post straight down this thread and spam the tl;dr to this obvious point. The target area is only two pixels wide. It's a small hot air exhaust post, right below the main post. The "logic" leads directly to the facepalm system. A precise hit will start a chain reaction facepalm which should destroy the forum. Only a precise hit will set off a chain reaction facepalm. The "logic" is flame-shielded, so you'll have to use witty rejoinders.
