Does that mean the French want nothing to do with Freedom either. Poor Freedom, unloved and unwanted.

Its got nothing to do with laziness as I said, its just a big headache. Some players wont play on a team unless it has this AT, some players wont join unless your doing AE missions, some players wont join unless your doing Radios, some players wont join unless your doing TF/SF, some players wont join unless you only do their missions. Not to mention all the people who want a tell sent first even though they are already actively looking for a group. Again I dont have time for all that *** kissing just so you can join a team that you are already looking for. For the record I dont just blindly invite people unless you are looking for a group and dont have please send tell in your search comment, those folks automatically get skipped over.

If you'd read the guide that I'd linked to, you'd see how to easily avoid all those pitfalls. It's really not as hard as you're making it out to be.

But look at it this way, with player notes all those "some players" can be designated as such leaving everyone else to have fun and they can come here whining how they cannot get a team.

Actually, I'd give NC a whole lot of money to transfer all my toons to Freedom, and I'm not the only one from Vigilance in that case. 'Cause Vigilance low population is low.

On a serious note, it would be really cool if the French server was set around Paris, German around Berlin, and the English ones around London.

If they are cooking CoH2 in their back labs, I hope they are considering different locales on servers.

I form teams every single day, for XP, T/SFs, and general farting around badge hunting. I've had the problems your describe maybe. . . four times? Five? And that's since launch. Most people are just happy to join a good team doing things they will enjoy. Seriously, leading a team is simplicity itself. I make a boilerplate message to copy into a tell, and that way anyone I ask is aware of the team's purpose and any shenanigans I might have planned. I assume that no reply means no thanks, and I never blind invite under any circumstances. Avoids a lot of misunderstanding.

I think it's sort of funny that you skip over people who just want a tell from the leader about what the team is going to be doing, and then you complain here about how some people might not want to do some of the things you mention. Sounds to me like the problems you have leading teams is entirely due to your inability or unwillingness to effectively communicate.

Hmm *looks at threat title* Oh yeah! **** server merging. That's the death rattle for MMOs. If I was looking at starting in a different MMO and I heard they just merged servers, I would take that to mean it's dying. Also, as others have said, there's a server out there with the population level you like, so don't try to turn Justice into Freedom, just roll on Freedom.

Having lived here for 3 years now I'd argue thats not the case. Sure, you don't chat to the weirdo next to you on the train, but I wouldn't do that anywhere. Otherwise I've found London to be a pretty friendly place.

I'm an EU player and I'm still looking for this so called "Freedom" server on my list. Wat do?

We really need the devs to liberate Europe so you have the choice of a couple high pop and medium pop servers.

Funny you should mention that. I made an homage character based on a particularly obnoxious ex-forum member who claimed to be French using that very costume. Maybe some will remember him.

The EU/NA divide makes me sad; I would totally roll on some EU servers if I could. Are the EU servers fairly well populated? I hear that one of the English-language servers has a lot more players than the other?

Hey Beber, I hope you and any other French players understand that I'm only teasing when I make jokes about France. No offense is intended, especially to all the lovely mademoiselle's.

Well I don't know what to tell you. I lead teams about 90% of the time when I play, both because my friends are lazy and because I'm good at it. I can fill up a team from 1 to 8 with entirely pubbies in about 5-15 minutes, every single time, any time of day, no matter what I'm doing. I don't have this "drama" or "headache" you speak of. I don't send blind invites either. Sounds like a problem on your end.

As I understand it from numbers people have posted the most populated EU server gets to Protector type numbers. It's fine for those of us who like Protector and choose to play there over Freedom, Virtue, Justice, etc. but I don't like them being stuck with no choice when we have a place they could go for more population if they want it.

I don't think I've ever read anyone against merging the lists to allow people the choice other than the issue of the global names that would need to be worked out.
