how many common salvage have you deleted this weekend?

Supply cut off, demand growing by the hour...

If any lowbie wants a niche, stock up on AE tickets to roll into common salvage once the market comes back - it will probably take a couple of weeks for the price of common salvage to drop back out of the stratosphere.

I'm not so sure about that. Prices may raise a bit for people crafting recipes they got. However, there were so many thousands of stuff like Kinetic Weapons, Mathematic Proofs, and other Commons that it was too bloated to get anything to move outside a sell price of 1 Inf.

While there may be a shortage on some things, I think that this will just trim some of the fat and bloat off once the market is back.

Then perhaps we can see a shortage and a rebound for profits.

I'm guessing you play blueside

Redside, during the 3 weeks after double XP weekend, I sold a dozen 10-stacks of fortunes for $1 million each. The rubies and something else were lucrative too, but the fortune prices were nuts,.

And for a little while there even kinetic weapons were selling for a couple thousand or so .

I've no idea how much I've deleted, but it's a lot. On the upside I'm going to dump several hundred salvage on the market when it comes back. (Multiple characters with 80-85 salvage slots.) I want badges.

The worst thing is that our marks (the casual players that over pay to buy things NAO) may have actually learned how to craft things for themselves.

That could be the real killer.

Base/vault storage for stuff I care about and vendored the rest. Don't think I deleted anything really.

Me too.

I've probably deleted 50 or show common salvage and 5 or 6 cheap IO recipes the past 4 days. Stored a few rares in email.

I sold some stuff (common and uncommon salvage, common recipes) to the vendors but I have still several toons with a lot of stuff in their inventory. Considering the supply of common inventions (blue side) before the market was closed and what I assume will flow into the market when it comes back again, I believe we will see only a minor peak in prices there (but I hoarded some specific salvage types in case I'm wrong .. muhahahah $_$ )

Any time a character of mine get nearly full on recipe or salvage, I switched to another character. I plan on listing everything for 1 that's worth less than 5M when the market returns, and I wanted to make sure I destroyed as little as possible. No burden switching, since I have about 150 characters I like playing.

This.

But last night, I got so mad at not being able work on kitting out a character, that I logged out and read...a book. I had to like hold it and stuff while attempting to pet the cat that came by to "help," all the time trying to turn these page thingies.

I can't keep doing this, man. Way too much analog for me.

My solution has been to play only in MA and on characters below 10.

None.

That red word means nothing to me as I'm not crafting.

I just don't care if I missed out on a Soul Bound Gem, etc.

Once the market reopens, all the money will be in Improvised Cybernetic and Circuit Boards anyway.

[It's all ball bearings these days.]

None, but then, I have hardly played since the market went down.

you guys are taking this suprisingly well. i would have guessed people would be demanding the devs pay them for lost "income" or something, when actually you are planning on how you will make even more money off of it, bravo. i guess the regulars here are already so filthy rich it doesnt even matter.

We filled up our base, crafted some things, filled it up again and did Ae ticket grinds of NON custom mobs. I can hold far more tickets on two guys than the market can possibly be down. Thats blue side....sadly ive just stopped caring about redside till i see the god awful dev approved fix.

Somedays i wish i had another blowtorch a pair of tongs and a room full of Devs.

marketeers are like cockroaches in that we can adapt, excel and drive the 'casuals' crazy whatever the environment throws at us.

This is probably what allows us our varying degrees of success and good attitudes towards the markets in the gam rather than wringing our hands about market manipulations that aren't real.

I sell to vendors, mostly.

I played a lot of different characters so it wasn't too much of a problem. I played at least 6 different characters over the weekend.
