So....was that (not the badge, that is new, but what you see at the badge location) always there? It was a bit tucked away, so I had never stumbled across that before. And what exactly are those things? Never knew Longbow was into that kind of thing.

Please share! How do you get there?

Check out the Base Jumper badge in RWZ (the badge isn't hidden but it's near the entrance to a hidden area). Unless War Witch wasn't referring to that hidden area, in which case I have no idea what she meant.

That isn't a new badge, and that isn't a new area... so I doubt it has anything to do with War Witch's comments about i17 content. Most people have come to the conclusion that she was referring to the not yet earned MoLGTF badge.

I was amazed when I found that location. I've been playing since CoH beta, and had no idea that was there. I guess I need to spend more time in Nerva because I also didn't know about what Crey was up to in the warehouses. Running around getting the new badges was just fantastic. I really enjoyed that.

Yeah, I have seen that conclusion popping up in threads now.
Still doesn't quite ring true to me, as it seemed like it was a comment on a longer standing issue than just the beta for I17, and she was a big part of the zone redesign back in the day... Fun to speculate though.

That's not what I was saying. A while back War Witch made a comment that there were some Easter Eggs in RWZ that people still hadn't discovered. I've never seen anyone else mention this area so I thought she may have meant that. Also, I don't see how a Master of LGTF badge equates to an undiscovered Easter Egg, so I disagree with that conclusion.

I remember War Witch's comment as well. It sounds more like a hidden-undiscovered area of the RWZ map vs. another stupid Mo badge.

Hm...I supposed to help induce more RWZ exploration they add more map badges to it....

Well now. I have some time at work. Lemme login and use that nifty "Walk" power to check out every nook and cranny of RWZ while I rebuild these SQL tables.

(I wonder if the areas are opened up when the shields come down... like there's some sort of Rikti Dance Party beneath the saucer...

Y'know, the only easter egg I remember is the one in the projector area, when you click on the desk.

Dunno about a dance party, but I wouldn't be surprised if the shields do need to be down to get to a hidden area.

My sources say there are 14 exploration badges for the RWZ. No more or less.

There is the x-ray in the medical area, and the morgue as well. However I've been told that they've existed since the zone revamp in Issue 10.

My statement was that to induce or maybe entice would be a better word, more exploration of RWZ that they should add more map badges to it.

I'll poke around the zone later, but I suspect that the ship shields will need to be down.

Ah. By the way, the RWZ has 14 explore badges, more than any other zone in the game. 15 if you include the explore in the AE building. I don't think that any more have been added to it.

So far I've seen no evidence from exploring that new badges were added to it, nor do I expect any. It looks like hazard zones, pvp zones, and the co-op maps (RWZ, Cim, Pock D) have not gotten new map badges.

So now its a matter of poking around RWZ for any hidden areas.

Is Hollows Hazard? I wanna say yes...

Anyway, the only non-standard City Zones to get new Explore badges with I17 are The Hollows and Croatoa. *shrug*

Beats me, I don't think they are hazard zones, but I don't know how the devs classify them

Where are these?

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

The Hollows IS a Hazard Zone...

A) There used to be a minimum level for entrance, IIRC (though it was quite low)
B) And it is behind those cute lil Hazard gates.

Croatoa, is not... because it is accessible via train, and is basically a city zone.

The room inside the Vanguard base where a Briefing Instructor is standing in front of a projector.. you can click on the desk in the corner.

In the Hospital, you can click on the X-Ray pictures on the wall in the back.

And the morgue hotspot is the top left door.

You know what bugs me? That big Devouring Earth cave door off to the west, south of Point Du Hoc. Seems like that door was built for some reason we haven't figured out yet. Hell, I even had MB click on the aforementioned hotspots to see if maybe the door would unlock or something, no dice.

I agree that door seems odd, but I still think you are crazy about the clickables being tied to it... but I humor you anyway. haha
