I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

I have to go with, no new badges in RWZ. Decided to look around with no luck.

Croatoa, is not... because it is accessible via train, and is basically a city zone.
Going by the original (and long since defunct) methodology that separated the zones, a Trial Zone had a Trial, a Hazard Zone had a monster--the Hollows would be a Trial Zone, and Croatoa a Hazard Zone.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

The other day as some teams ran a ship raid, I popped into RWZ to get the Unabashed badge from the ship and I also checked all around under the ship and the ground around the ship that would normally be inaccessible due to the ship's shield. No signs of any hidden easter eggs.

Hm, an interesting theory; but where would one begin to search once the shields drop? I would think that if there was an area tied to the shield drop that it would be in the ship area.

There's a ton of Easter eggs in the Vanguard base.

Click on a bunch of barrels to savor the fine aroma of root beer!

Watch some daytime soaps on a small TV!

Behold an ordinary door that can lead to your SG base! (might have been a bug and fixed, though)

Click everything you can find!

Also, an idea re: WarWitch's comment: has a ship raid ever successfully placed bombs in EVERY SINGLE grate, and not just the ones running south to north on the way from the last tower to the ship's center? I'm going to see if a capped zone can get enough (patient, cooperative) people to bomb out every single grate...

Oh, and Crimson demands you play this arc-> Twisted Knives (MA Arc #397769)

Presuming the capped zone doesn't implode and crash everyone out of it for about 5 minutes

Seriously though its not a bad idea, just don't see it happening with a capped zone. If some teams can clear the area around the grates for a solo player to hop into it and set the bomb then another solo player for another grate and so on.

Virtue is pretty stable with a capped RWZ. I'll try either tonight or tommorow

I go by the names associated with each zone from the demo files:

Croatoa = City_03_03
The Hollows = Hazard_01_02

Croatoa has a TF that is given after a few zone-oriented Story arcs. So does Striga. Why is one of them a city and the other a hazard? lol

Up to Issue 12, spawn rules for the Hollows was more difficult. With larger groups, it still is.

I'm talking about the difference between Striga and Croatoa. They seem fairly similar to me. I guess Striga does have some large spawns in the swamps, but Croatoa has it's heavy spawn areas in the woods as well.

Croatoa originally launched with free access to the zone (it wasn't level restricted). Up until recently, Striga was level 20+. Striga has larger spawns, with more boss-level critters.

Ah yes, I had not considered the level restriction. Since it was abolished, it's easy to forget about. lol

And now that you mention it, though the Croatoa spawns can be large, they aren't of the caliber of Underbosses hiding around the corner like Striga has.

Thanks for the reminder. It certainly makes more sense now.

Curiously enough, Croatoa had a level restriction for a month, but that was set after it went live (bug). I had a couple of low-level characters there that were there, but if they left they couldn't return.

Let's not forget all the Turrets.

I seem to recall, shortly after Issue 10 rolled out, that Freedom would run out of grates after 1+ hours of raiding on that saucer. I don't recall anything happening in particular, but it's been done before; whether or not the "special something" was in place during that time to be triggered, I have no idea. I wouldn't mind giving it another try.

Yah, we went under the saucer at the time to see if there were more grates to be had. We had so many teams on the saucer top that some teams went down below to avoid FX lag and see if there was anything else to gnaw off the bones of that dead horse.

Didn't find anything then, but that WAS what, almost 3 years ago now?
