Good low to medium pop. server?
Check out Infinity. It usually has a healthy population, but not overly so like Freedom or Virtue.
"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict
Justice and Infinity are the next servers most typically, after F&V. I play on both. Both are equally dandy. As are all the other servers, including F&V.

Infinity took a big hit during the Free Server Transfers. Nowadays, it has trouble making it to the center of the list.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
Guardian is a good Medium server. We just recently had a group migrate there a few weeks ago.
We may not be the biggest server, but we're a family there.

Paragon City Search And Rescue
The Mentor Project
Really depends on your intent while playing. Infinity is a good fun server, Justice is a lot of good peeps, Protector is a close-knit "server of soloists" with some MAD amazing fun events.

I've been on Freedom since I started, as I like having a decent amount of other players around. However, every time there is an event (like today), the lag gets incredibly bad. It makes the game unplayable for me. So what's a decent server that doesn't really get many problems during Rikti attacks, giant monsters showing up, etc? Thanks!

Wow, I guess you have nothing better to do. Obviously, I was wrong about the server event starting. It doesn't mean Freedom wasn't stalled down to nothing.
I'll throw in a vote for Protector.
As Zekiran said, it's a tight-knit group of mostly soloists, but there are a number of people over there that'll reach out to you. The experience is well-worth the risk of a faceplating PUG

Look at that. A full-grown woman pulling off pigtails. Her crazy is off the charts.
I'd suggest that you go to ANY server that you want, and use this guide to make your own teams. It's really not as hard as people think.
I've had fairly good experiences everywhere.
Victory, my original server, seems to have a lot of experienced, effective players and a strong Task Force culture.
Liberty, my current home server, has a lot of nice people, regular mothership raids and task forces, and multiple, highly active global channels.
Pinnacle, on which I played some years back, seems to be one of the smallest populations, but the people I met there were almost universally interesting and friendly. Plus, of course, it's the drunken server.
Justice, my current back-up, seems pretty active, with a fairly large number of players.
And yes, all the servers took major population hits during the free transfers as people moved to Virtue to be with their friends. That said, I've found it easy to join teams nearly anywhere and fairly easy to form teams most places.

Triumph. Decent low-pop, decent crowd.
this type of lag almost always happens right before an issue launches. and what you did is called dual posting. it is against froum rules to do. even if they have a different title.

This describes the current situation more accurately
total kick to the gut
This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
Did they limit transfers from heavy pop. servers to lighter ones, or was it anything goes?
I toss my vote out for Vic, Home Sweet Home.
