Do you ask the person that serves you fast food be fired because the restaurant doesn't serve big enough portions?
Still hate the visit Winscott mission- make it dropable, have it give actual exp or remove it altogether. PS- Down knows who you are.

I would like to just jump on the bandwagon and toss in another demand that Samuraiko be hired. She seems to do a right good bit with just the things available to her in her free time, even without the funds often bestowed upon one via stable employment. Consider their potential given resources and official backing. Besides, talents deserve jobs...and I understand shes in want of a job.
NCSoft will be getting no more of my money and my GW2 purchase was halted the day of the announcement. I'm a loyal and very profitable customer. I hope to return to giving them all of my money, should CoH survive.

Regarding t-shirts, I actually like plain logo t-shirts. Like this or this (but then again, I loved plain logo Underoos). Right now, not much would probably be recognizable besides the Statesman or Lord Recluse logos. Do any of the other signature heroes or villains have logos?

As fun as this is for me, I'm going to have to take a break from the forums for a bit. For starters, I need to catch up on 15 pages worth of questions/ideas/comments, because I really will read everything everyone wrote. Secondly, the next couple weeks are crunch time because of **** ****** ** *****. So give me some time. But if you guys do go to some of these non-Paragon attended events, and are willing to organize a small CoX get-together, I think I can help out. I want the players to enjoy these treats. I don't want them to go to Joe Boe Stranger who'll just plop them on eBay or toss them in the trash. But I'm going to want some juicy stories in exchange. |

Guys, Black Pebble most likely has no say in the hiring proceedings at Paragon. IF, and that's a really REALLY big "if", my skillset and qualifications met their needs, at BEST, he (sorry, BP, default gender here) might be able to go to Brian Clayton (or whoever's desk the buck stops on there) and say, "You know, is there any chance we could swing hiring another person or two in Marketing?", and then let Brian deal with the NCsoft suits.
And let's be honest here - the rednames don't exactly have their heads in the sand. They know me and my work. That still doesn't mean they have any say whatsoever in who gets hired at PS.
So to those players who enjoy my video work, and are loudly calling for me to get hired, please - out of respect for BP and what he's trying to accomplish here by opening a dialogue with the playerbase on marketing this game we all love, please leave me out of it.
You have no idea how much it means to me that you're that supportive and enthusiastic about my vids. I'm glad that they keep you guys interested in the game, and that you use them to get friends and family into COH as well. But as I honestly don't see myself ever being asked to work there, all I can do is keep making my fan videos and hoping you enjoy them.
(And to those of you who think my work and I are overrated, you're entitled to your opinions as well. I'm neither naive nor stupid enough to hold out for universal popularity, and I fully expect this post to get negatively repped by some of you.)

Sorry, I was feeling poetic. That aside I have a real question to ask him: has the marketing department ever considered advertisement in the media outside of any web-based means? Such as television is what I am getting at. Perhaps some form of commercial on a less-than-gratifying time slot?

I horrifically dislike WoW, the only option was to wait for CoH to become available Online to buy it. When CoV was released in stores (I had a heart attack that day I found out I could buy the collector's edition) I met 30ish other people in one little EB store waiting to get it.
If AU/NZ players were officialy incorperated into NA's status of existance, I'd cry for joy.
We're not 'eastern' players. We're oceanic. :P

I rarely voice my opinion, BUT...
I actually am 100% totally against goodies being at cons only.
And here's why -
The people who attend these cons get upset because these items can be purchased online etc.. so what? You think just because I can't take days off of work.. spend hundreds (thousands) of dollars to go to a conference that makes me less of a fan or player? Why should I be penalized because I can't afford to go to a con, but will gladly give my $10 to a game I have supported for 5 years? Does that really seem fair to the community as a whole?
Sorry this is just a huge sore spot for me... You talk about the haves and have nots; well unfortunately some of us have to work to pay our bills... some of us can't afford to spend hundred upon hundreds of dollars to go to a con.
So NO I don't think cons should offer exclusive items that cannot be purchased. Getting them FREE for attending a con is your reward... as well as getting to meet the people behind the game. You have no idea how much some of us would love to be able to do this and simply just can't do it for financial reasons. So go ahead and get your FREE goodies, but just let the rest of us have to pay for them, but at least we can get them.

No idea what the first word could be... was thinking 'time' originally but it doesnt make sense.
Its something marketing needs to do before an issue release... hmmm lol.
I have to say though, im finding it quite fun trying to figure these out.
Work makes sense, but not sure why he would block that out...

Wouldn't there be concerns of tackiness if you started seeing Billboards advertising shampoo?
PS - Did you notice I ignored the bacon question?
Billboard adverts were actually a cool idea, they werent intrusive like having a popup for some unknown product, yet they added realism to the city. Of cheap tacky shampoos are advertised, then so be it, there advertised in real life anyway
More realism is a good thing to a certain extent
I personally approved of the adverts for the vin diesel film you had before. Even if the actual film was kind of bad
