Scrapper Patron Powers?
Well I've recently heard that when you switch sides in Going Rogue you will in fact be able to attain patron/ancillary powers. Now I'm wondering a few things about how this will work but of all these the most important to my meta is...which versions of the patrons will the scrappers have access too? My heart is hoping against all hopes that it will be brutes but this seems rather unlikely as I'm somewhat expecting stalkers....JUST GIVE ME GLOOM ON MY DM/SD! That's all I'm asking for!

It will be brutes or stalkers (coin flip as to which), or possibly even new versions of each patron pool for all blueside ATs (and vice versa for Epic pools for redside ATs)

If this is true, and scrappers get brute pools, then my main could get darkest night and gloom. Soft-capped defense + scaling resists + a aoe damage debuff + tough. Nice.
Be well, people of CoH.
I would love Web Envelope or Electrifying Fences (AoE immobs) on a Spine/Elec
Mace blast could add an amusing ranged element to some serious melee scrappers.

I bet Scraps will get Stalker pools, because Tankers will get Brute's (if this switch happens anyway). No DN, Gloom and only Ball Lightning as AoE, but I bet some regenes, elec, dark, fire who built for some defense will love Shadow Meld, and a few others may like Hibernate and Water Spout (might be handy against EBs/AVs).
My guess is that they'll get semi-new pools that look similar to Brute pools.
Of course, if we can ply Castle with enough liquor long enough, maybe we'll get Dominator Pools.
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
They might get a mix of Stalker and Brute, as I could see it.

As long as I get conserve power on my brutes, I could care less if it was scrapper or tank pools.

I don't remember any transcripts from PAX saying anything about this.
If scrappers got Darkest Night it would rekindle my interest in actually BEING one, certainly.
*Edit* - Let me clarify. It's not that I think Scrappers are bad, far from it, it's just that Brutes are simply *better*, so when given the choice I'm going to pick a Brute over a Scrapper.
My favorite combo is Faceplant/DebtCap with the TeamWipe Ancillary

Spine/fire/mu would be soooo wrong with brute patrons.
Which is mainly why I want one.
Honestly would rather just have spines given to brutes but I guess I would settle for a scrapper version.
I will laugh so hard if Scrappers get Stalker patrons.

While I prefer the Brute choice, either scenario is a win win for scrappers. We can actually take good powers with out burning a pick on hold.
Maybe they'll be crazy and give stalkers gloom and shadow meld! Doubtful lol

Har, a Scrapper Soul Mastery with Gloom, Darkest Night, Dark Obliteration, Shadow Meld and a Widow pet just so you have something to skip

The only benefit that a brute has over a scrapper is hit points and punchvoke, other than that, I believe, they're both on par in just about every other aspect.

Plus for the time being, there are a few sets Scrappers have that Brutes don't have access to and vice versa.
Edit: and the autohit AoE Taunts in their primaries, vs the ST Scrapper ones.
