Why can't we enhance while dead
your post reminds me of a certain movie review by The Nostalgia Critic. This one I think to be precise: http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/vid...st-for-camelot
The Nostalgia Critic reviews the movie Quest for Camelot, and is angered by the constant non-sequitur events the viewer of the movie endures. As the film progresses even further into the depths of just doing "stuff" with no motivation, fore-shadowing, or even basic development, the Nostalgia Critic's anger increases. Finally, The Nostalgia Critic explodes, exclaiming EXPLAIN MOVIE! EXPLAIN?!?! while being accompanied with the visuals of video feeds from various explosive tests.
In the same way, I can't help but read your post with the same thought. There's absolutely no explanation. Just a simple subject line, and then a post with one word repeated 3 times.
The question is raised then, why is being unable to work enhancements will in a defeated state "Lame" to begin with? Does the prevention somehow go against the story of the play at that point in time, when you are defeated and helpless? Would not it make logical sense that in a defeated state you would be at your enemies mercy?
If you have to make some sort of enhancement change that is absolutely critical after you died, what's wrong with going to the hospital. Seriously, is hitting Hospital or Base really that hard to do?
I'm sorry, but your post makes absolutely no sense, and I doubt you have any actual justification for it outside of not being able to check your combat numbers while in a defeated sate.
Did somebody say PIE?!

???? What is the point of complaining again? Enlighten me! I am unenlightened!
to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

problem is... you are DEAD! how many things other than lie there can you do while you are dead? and no, i don't get why you can hand off insps while dead. that doesn't make sense either.

My bar says PIESR+ if you look at it like that. This becomes PIES R +
Pies is the plural of Pie.
R is another way of saying "are"
And + means good.
Thus, Pies are good.

It's an old screenshot.
See? Look! It's even been faded with age:
(Seriously. That window got upgraded from PIE to PIES when CoV came out, I believe)

Villains was Issue 6. Inventions was issue 9. So it would've been 9 when it changed.

I always thought it was to be able to see Rez prompts etc.
This is new right? I noticed this just last night. Had a full tray of enhancements. Needed to wait for the mob to be cleared to rez and double clicked like always. Yet nothing happened...
Thought it was a bug cause I could swear we could do it for the past 5 years.
When did it change?
Maestro Mavius - Infinity
Capt. Biohazrd - PCSAR
Talsor Tech - Talsorian Guard
Keep Calm & Chive On!
been that way for the 3 yrs i've been playing.
Wait... Dead ? I thought it was "arrested" ? Or is that just for the bad guys....

Personally I still think it's a really bad thing. I mean, if someones that obsessive about min-max efficiency (and thats even being harsh to the min-max crew) that they carry around a tray full of stuff like acc, damage and recharge SOs or whatever just to slot into, say, RotP, well...more power to 'em, I say...
If it's because people might miss rez prompt, they do that anyway. Some daft idjit will wander afk while I waste Rez on him, while I could have rezzed the guy next to him, who could then have done something useful.
(Sorry. Pet bugbear on my fender is people using;
a) Any sort of rez before I have time to hit them with Vengeance
b) A wakie when rez is charged
c) Being afk when I use rez, effectively wasting it and meaning it might be down when we actually need it in future. )
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Being dead doesn't seem to prevent you from chatting with your mates, trading inspirations and enhancements and watching your powers recharge, it doesn't prevent you from seeing your map, it doesn't prevent you from reading your clues and I'm pretty sure it doesn't prevent you from speaking with contacts. If we're going by what makes sense, if all of the above do, then shouldn't managing your enhancements make sense when you're dead, too?
|
you can already manage your enhancements when dead though. it's called right click and delete. depending on your origin and the contact arc you chose, you aren't going to get anything you can use 60% of the time anyways. and if you bought what you needed and didn't slot it before hand that is your fault not the games.
