Can we please get a full list of which NPCs were incarnates (and incarnates of who/what)? Requiem managed to become stronger than Reichsman, and Ukon Grai is.... Ukon Grai. Are they incarnates? How about DJ Zero? Blue Steel? And is Imperious secretly Zeus? A child of Zeus? If not, why does he have Statesman's powers?
..Actually, let's go with that. Why does Cimerora have such /clear/ analogs for certain modern-day characters?
And what's the deal with Lady Gray?
Ouroboros and Nemesis- what's the real story there? -
...If this kickstarter goes up, count me in with whatever I can afford.

Simple question: I want a grill in my base. You know, the sort of thing one makes burgers on when out on the patio. I know they've been made before and made well but I've been unable to find screenshots, so any help would be appreciated, even just a screenshot of your own. Thanks!

Main reason I don't PVP: No rewards worth noting. Drop chance of anything worthwhile is like 1:100, which means you have to be done some hardcore PVP to see anything. And this is best obtained by cooperative farming, not real fighting. I don't mind PVP, but it requires a separate build style for most toons, and I'm not going to invest in being a PVP badass if I can't get a return on my investment.

Quote:Even at +4 difficulty with four people on the team and half of them with no incarnate powers, I'm finding the DA EBs to be pathetic speed bumps less challenging than the groups we fought to get to them. So the goal of providing challenging content for small teams is not being met right now.
My brute can solo AVs. He is just barely an incarnate. I just hit level 50 with him, unlocked Alpha Slot, and in order to get something in it, did an ITF. He ran off ahead, and beat Requiem alone in the third mission. And then when it was over, he used shard drops an an ancient nictus fragment to get an alpha common.
In Dark Astoria, he's had missions where he's gone with one other person, sometimes not level 50, and this was with just an alpha common. The Elite Bosses are not scary enough for a well-built toon. They're just not. And while I could up the difficulty, both the Banished Pantheon and the Knives of Vengeance have bosses that actually ARE scary. I find a serious issue when the random-spawn Bosses are more threatening than the mission-ending big names. Especially the one Garent mentioned.
The big annoyance for me, though, was the end of the Mu's arc, where a known AV fights the bad guy, and loses... And when I did that, and saw that the enemy was an EB, call I could think was "I refuse to believe that (spoiler) lost that battle." And then I tore the EB apart and was profoundly dissapointed. -
(These are both results of glitches. The first was a total random graphics thing on my friend's screen. I was drawing bows instead of arrows. The second was the result of using the Arrow of Love temp power. For some reason, I drew my own bow as well as Cupid's) -
Haha, WarBase, it's me, Daniel Stevens. Yah, this issue is settled. I has cannons now. Thanks for the help.
-
Just a quick question before I start trying to make 'em from scratch... Anyone make any good, old-fashioned cannons that they could share? I'm working on a project that is going to need cannons.

I'm such an experienced player, my awesomness forces newb moments.
I've got an amazing Shield/Super Strength tank, capable of taking enemies at like +2x8, and who normally plays primary tank and does damage comprable to the scrappers. She almost never falls.
Except when she does, One with the Shield is sitting there, full charged, wondering why I didn't use it to help her survive.
This isn't a "oh, I forgot that one time." Or even a "sometimes, I forget." No. She's had One With The Shield for a very long time, and I never, ever remember to use it. I remember to use my brute's Demonic Aura accolade more than I remember this one with the shield. So on the rare occassions she falls, I notice it sitting there, fully charged, and I facepalm, and I swear I'll remember it next time... And I never do.
And seriously /everyone/ does the train doors thing. -
I would like a Scythe for titan weapons as well. It's a weapon I've wanted since I started playing years ago.
-
I'd like some joke/gag weapons, as well as some not-a-weapons weapons. Here's some things I've actively wanted.
-Fish swords. Yes, it's mentioned, people want them, we would use them.
-Parasols and Canes for sword options. Not so much 'joke' weapons, but fun items to use.
-Oversized Kitchen Utensils.
-'Nerf' weapons.
-A lot of 'random common object' weapons. We've already got a few good ones like the shovel and wrench, but there's definitely a lot more we could go, especially for swords. All the swords are swords.
And put me at +1 for reccomendation for Titan Weapons to have a person as a weapon option, as well as for the musical notes aura and the shoulder devil and angel options. I have lots of characters who could have little devils on their shoulder. Maybe make options for Devil, Angel, and Both. -
Darkest Night
Shadowfall
Dark Servant
I'm good to go as long as I'm not soloing. -
No, no, I'm not saying they should let us go nuts.
I'm saying the devs should say "Send us your best costume pieces that you have made on your own, and if we like them, we'll put them in the market and give you... 1 paragon point per sale." Gods know the IMVU/SL method lets you do copyrighted stuff far too easily. -
Wait, wait wait.
Wait.
Wait.
Waaaaait.
Players can go in and edit the costume files? I mean, sure, it takes work, I don't doubt but... we have the technology for just ANYBODY to tinker with what the costume pieces look like and such?
Why aren't the devs letting us DO that? I mean, maybe just accept submissions, and even if they want to sell them, still. I mean IMVU and Second Life are nothing BUT letting players make costumes and such, and they've got a bajillion options. If the tools exist for people to make costume pieces and files on their own, why are the devs not taking advantage of this? -
Dark Miasma. I've a Mastermind and a Defender both at incarnate levels with it, and they do this great thing called "being amazing without even trying." Darkest Night alone ruins enemies, Shadowfall is nice and comfy, Tar Patch makes everything better, and Dark Servant, well... Dark Servant is the best friend a power selection can buy. Twilight Grasp and Fearsome Stare are both solid, of course, and then Howling Twilight can turn near-wipes into victory.
It's probably one of the best sets in the game, and it has a wide range of awesome abilities. So yeah, Dark Miasma. It's amazing. -
Quote:Or a little of both after making some sound judgement calls regarding the branding. i.e. if you make a princess, also make soft unarmored princely pieces with royal cloak, spotted fur collar, various crowns and doublets for him.
Personally, I've wanted those pieces since I started playing this game. If they introduce a Princess set without a Prince set I will go into full on rage mode. -
Somebody, somewhere, had made a foosball table. I seek an image of it, so that I might make on in my base. If anyone knows where the foosball table is, I would love to know.

Adding myself in as someone who thinks coats should be available to females.

I wish to re-enter my fighting arena room. It' a mere 78 pieces.

As of i20, Kill Most TFs will get a rise in popularity all across the board. They're changing it to allow you to get shards no matter what level you're exemped down to, so people will likely be willing to kill things to get what they want.
But as said, in TFs, the big rewards are the end rewards, as well as things you're required to kill to complete the TF. And if you're level 50 there's no XP, so killing random enemies isn't as rewarding as hurrying toward the end rewards.
Also, two words: "TIME TRIAL!" There's something particularly rewarding about completing a task far more quickly than the intended duration. -
Whatever the current WST should be available somewhere in game. I suggest one of the following methods...
-Message of the Day! That popup that sometimes happens when you log in? Have one every tuesday saying what the new WST is.
-Add to your contacts tab the WST contact if you're high enough level to use that contact, and have unlocked them for the TFs where that's necesarry.
-Put someone in Ouroboros that explains WSTs and tells players which the weekly WST is
Plenty of implementation options, and it doesn't have to be special, it just has to be /there./ -
Is Director 11 really a level 58 AV, reduced to 54 by the power of Emperor Cole's Incarnate Control, or is Director 11 secretly an Incarnate working for Malta?
I don't like either of these possibilities. Please discuss. -
Okay, this isn't necesarrily a "bug" so much as it is something that is wrong and bad.
My Stalker ran the WST before getting his ALpha Slot unlocked, cause he was 49 and it was what people were running. He got his double merits and pushed to 50. Then I unlocked his Alpha slot. The next day, he went to Paragon and ran the OTHER WST, with his new incarnate slot unlocked... ... But he didn't get a Notice of the Well.
Now, it seems to me that it makes sense; It simply checks to see if you've completed the WST this week or not, and if so, you don't get the bonuses. That said, because so many WILL be pushing to 50 via the WSTs (because they're the only TFs being run), it seems wrong that doing this prevents you from getting a notice the same week.
My suggestions: Either give people the option to delay their WST rewards so they can wait until they have incarnate slot or, more simply, change the flag on the Notice so that it doesn't count as given if it failed to award in a previous WST -
The more customization options, the better. I would love to be able to design the look for my lore pet.
-
My demon characters are...
-Dark/Invul brute
-Fire/MAce Tank
-Thugs/Dark Mastermind (The thugs are named 'Damned' 'Fallen' 'Gunner' 'Blood brother' etc)
-Martial Arts/Regen Stalker
-Firey Blast/Thermal Corr
-Axe/Super Reflexes Brute
-Dark/Fire scrapper
...Anyway... I suggest Dark Melee and Fiery Aura on any of the melee classes that can have them. They give a lot of fun powers, let you heal end and regain HP, and Rise of the Phoenix is amazingtastic. Brute feels the most demonic, but Scrapper and Tank are solid as well.
