Apex should be the one to introduce us to Praetoria. I liked him in the comic book.

I'd like to see more Wyvern patrolling Paragon City, instead of Longbow.

I was thinking the other day that maybe Primal Earth Calvin Scott would be our Praetorian intro contact

But Apex - and Horus - should totally have models in the game somewhere.

All one of them. The only item actually stolen from MAGI in any arc is the Wheel of Destruction.

I'd really like to see Azuria as some ruhtless Praetorian security chief in GR

Hehe that actually would be awesome...

I've always wanted to see more Civic Squad from Westin Phipps' arc. I always thought they should have crafted them to pop up thru your whole villainous career. And Heroside, they should totally have a contact and arc where they try to recruit you!

As for those of you clamoring for more Becky, there's some great AE arcs that continue her adventures in well-written style.

Becky's Revenge, ID #60197 by New Age Ronin

And the follow-up Becky and Mandy: A Tale of Two Mistresses, ID #175000 by New Age Ronin

I haven't checked for any Penny Preston arcs, but I'm sure they're out there, too.

Craft your inventions in AE!!

Play "Crafter's Cafe" - Arc #487283. A 1 mission, NON-COMBAT AE arc with workable invention tables!

"Poison and Destroy Food for the Needy" - that title's just epic level evil - does anyone else think that might have been written after the complaints about CoV not letting you be really bad? Like the devs thought "not evil enough, you say? Try this"

Overused:

Circle of Thorns: Early levels they can be a pain since most agree they are overpowered . Later levels we catch up so to add to the annoyance factor we get the dreaded COT Cave/bases that are a maze of twists and turns. I don't care what contact you are running arcs through at some point they feel the absolute need to throw in one mission where the actual villain group the contact has you dealing with battles COT. Seems l;ike they feel some need to constantly remind us "Hey Circle of Thorn are a MAJOR villain group in game"

Council: at least in the 20 levels. If you do the TFs to level between level 23-34 you battle Council on the Moonfire TF, Council on the Hess Tf and then again Council on the Citadel. Not one TF that ever deals with the Warriors, Tsoo or family also available in that level range.

Underused:

Fake Nemesis: Since its a requirement for one of the accolades it's amazing how few missions actually have any of these in them and a lot of players find themselves hunting in PI or the Shard to complete that requirement. I've suggested it before how about removing some of the WarHulks from Creys Folly or Eden and replacing them with Fakes

Back Alley Brawler.. Story line is fascinating but we barely see him anywhere besides a few missions scattered between red and blue side.

Which is kinda odd, as the trend seems to be do reduce their presence - first they were totally kicked out of Faultline, then they were squeezed in the Hollows with the zone revamp, with the Legacy Chain, plus rival gangs, moving in on their turf.
Perez Park seems about the only place where they're really strong now.

Yes, but they're still too common. They are in at least 7 zones on blueside, a task force and they show up around 30% of the time on radio missions. Compare that to my pick for most underused: Malta, these guys scream "Put me in a Task Force" but they are just glorified map denizens.

Most overused single character for me is Nemesis, he's put on a higher pedestal than the supposedly main bad guy, Lord Recluse.

Most underused is Statesman. It's like he's too sexy for the game.

Having been on a badge spree yesterday I can testify that the COTs are very strong in the Abandoned Sewer Network. Next time I need to grab the Mage I'm going down there. There were TONS of them there ... whole mobs of nothing but Mage Bosses ...

It would be nice to see Horus in PI, I'd forgotten about him...

I really dug his "Level 15 scrapper lft" to end the run...
And also this - I can see it now.

Level 25-30 - the Apex Task Force - "Love Never Dies"
(he was lvl 15 then, let's assume he's made some progress)
This series of seven missions centers around Apex's desperate search for a means to bring War Witch back to life. Doing battle with the Fifth Column (alternately aided and betrayed by the Circle of Thorns, who have their own means of 'transferring souls'), and aided by the Legacy Chain (who would like to have such a powerful custodian of magic back in the world and firmly on the side of right), the heroes enter 'instanced' versions of several zones (such as Croatoa, the Thorn Tree, and other magically-tuned zones) trying to find a way to restore her to life.

This then leads to...

Level 45-50 - the Lady Jane Task Force - "The Heart of a Hero"
(she's learned a few things since you saved her while helping Montague)
This series of nine missions centers around Lady Jane's quest to restore the Honoree to normality. With the inroads made by the Midnight Squad's discovery of curing the Lost, plus SERAPH's learnings about Rikti/human DNA, Lady Jane needs the heroes' help to retrieve the Honoree, and help him back to himself as Hero 1. However, the Rikti will be less than happy (especially Hro'Dtohz) at having one of their most powerful warriors taken out, and both Nemesis and Crey would KILL to get their hands on the Lost-curing magic, if only to figure out how it works. However, the heroes do have allies in this - Infernia, Glacia, and Ajax, the three last surviving members of Omega Team.

Akarist too was stolen from MAGI's custody. And though not because of a villain, there is also that Divining Rod thingie that Skipper LaGrange gives you in Croatoa.

So there's at least 3 things stolen in different arcs.

He just seems a bit . . . . random?

Is it coincidence that the respec NPCs for heroes and villains (at least the original before Sawyer was added) both have wolf related names? Jack Wolfe / Arbiter Lupin

I see your villains, and raise you the Clockwork Cadaver!

Seriously, we need another low-level Task Force featuring the Clockwork King and Dr. Vahzilok. Two badass supervillains and Apex to set you on their trail.

And then all was right in the lowbie world.

The Center didn't appear overnight. The Center was always the shadowy financial supporter that paid to outfit Requiem's army. I think it's hinted his ability is Super Charisma, or something, to keep all these various AVs under his thumb. Or maybe he just throws money at them. Money to Nosferatu to keep eugenically engineering troops, money to Vandal to keep building robots, money to the Nictus because not even evil alien overlords from beyond the galactic rim can do anything without money

Nemesis is great. Let's not forget - it's the player meme that really kicked him off - the whole "Nemesis plot" thing came from the player base and the Devs took it and ran with it, promoting him up the ranks.

I like the Center too... the very fact there's a kind of evil mastermind (small m) who never gets to be seen and controls huge factions of fascists is exactly how it should be done - someone with a long reach but personally untouchable.

I would love the Vazhilok to be given some more "oomph" - they are such a great villain group and yet their story culminates way too early.

I'd also enjoy seeing more Banished Pantheon - for an ancient death cult and malign gods they seem a bit weak for their story line. (Or at least, in game it's not obviously apparent how much power they wield.)

I'd also like to see the guy on the loading screen with the pony tail and tatoos used in game. Never seen him - don't even know his name.

And Willy Wheeler needs to get revenge on the villains that busted him.
