The Television offers "new content". And all indications are that it's going to win.
If even one new mission is added to the Spring event, that would be a promise kept.
The devs have a policy to publish any changes to test before putting them live (I guess to make sure it works in a "live server environment" or somesuch). But they have to do it in a hidden manner.
Otherwise everyone would flock to Dr Aeon's side when they discover that the new content TV promises is actually a "Take Snaptooth out on a date" mission.
My money is still on a new issue, I know for a fact that they announce new events even if they do add new content. I'm going with one of two things, a new issue pretest, and/or testing a feature from GR to see how it reacts with the system, we may get nothing at all but let down, be ready for the wave. Good or Bad!
Maybe it's a fix for the numerous crashes lately in the game that I've been noticing...

If you've done any of the Television story arc (and actually paid attention to any of the dialogue, instead of blindly clicking through everything), you would appreciate that he posts exactly like he "speaks" in-game.
It's awesome.
That said, I'm a fellow Dr. Aeon supporter, if only for the fact that he promises "Ultra Mode" early...

Yeah I'm leaning toward i17 as well. They seem to like busing the masses with holiday events while they testers go and shake down the new stuff.
I reckon i17 will be a quickie costumes and some power adjusting and maybe a new story in Rome they have been promising some there. What who hasn't done that ONE contact on both sides already. I want to see some mythological creatures outside of task forces that'd be nice.
Let's get GOING on the Going Rogue already. Second 1/4 is a ways away but a boy can dream can't he...
I think it's very unlikely that they'd be that far ahead of schedule on GR that they could deliver an unplanned full-sized Issue - so it might be better if we set our expectations for something like I15, as far as content goes.

At some point well over a year ago someone would have had to start reserving a build number for Going Rogue. Way back then they couldn't be sure if there was going to be a major release of features between Issue 16 and Going Rogue, so they preassigned 1800 to GR and reserved 1700 for any major feature release that might come before Going Rogue. If there was no release, the number would just be discarded. Happens all the time in software development when it comes time to fork a new build series.
I have no idea if there is going to be a release 1700 or not. I only know that Going Rogue is going to be 1800. Technically, I guess that qualifies as a Going Rogue leak. Fortunately, I don't think I was non-disclosed on that one.
I can also confirm that both Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning have nine powers. Take that, Marketing! Information wants to be free! "Pistols" is officially capitalized!
(Really, though, I still don't know much about Going Rogue - still haven't asked.)

The fact that "Pistols" is capitalized, on the other hand, is something you're only going to get from me and my special sources of information. I don't think they released that information at HeroCon, they only formally announced that "Ultra Mode" was not going to have a hyphen.
Castle is more popular than I am and he gets even more privileged information than I do. Go hate on him. I know less than 96% of what he does.
