If anybody needs an SG invite redside, feel free to hit me up. My global is the same as my forum name...

I'm interested but on at totally inconvenient hours. Both red and blue. I rarely log in before 9:00pm PST 1:00am EST.

Anyone who can invite on really late weeknights?

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

Depending on my work schedule, I'm often on late. Probably won't be around that late though this week.

Some organizational suggestions:

1. Give invite (but not kick) rights to anyone in the SG. This will ease invitation, since anyone can do it. This can be scaled back later if problems arise.

2. Give the ability to pay SG rent to anyone too. This allows anyone to take care of this mundane chore.

3. Form a base! Having the ability to have an invention kiosk and a place to put crafted IOs alone would make it worth it. It doesn't have to be fancy, but it will allow the couple of us with influence and higher levels to help twink out any newcomers. I've spent some time this afternoon buying Yin SOs for Squez and one other person who's name currently escapes me. Likewise allow everyone to add into and pull from both enhancement and salvage racks. People who steal will just be kicked.

4. Static teams are fine, but please make them optional. This is a part time thingy for me, and I, like many others, have other characters on different home servers. I'm happy to pump out merits solo or as part of a team effort, but I'm out if I *have to* make X/X AT combination. Even as a soloist, I've made 5 random rolls so far (100 Merits) between doing Ouro flashbacks, the Winter Lord event and finishing out some old arcs. I'm sure I'll pull my weight.

6. A SG like this need goals. Is there a certain number of recipes that we want to put on the market? Do we want to keep track of these? Are there any monetary goals (with some modest marketing, I'm up to 40M from 77k)? Do we want to track reward merit generation? Do we want to also want to keep track of pool A recipes, since some variety of those are almost as rare (I rolled three level 33 Crushing Impact Dmg/Rech recipes via bronze rolls...they sell for good coin).

So far, this has given me an excuse to a) play on a server I don't have a presence on, b) get to know some market forum goers, and c) resurrect an old scrapper that was languishing unplayed.

For which I am grateful for sure. FYI for other SG members, I will soon have the Yin store unlocked, too.

That was me on the IO's and some DO cash, thanks btw.

I have a 33 PB with some cash available for twinking in the Group, name of Light Lion.

I'm currently running the last Hollows arc on my lvl 14 FM/WP scrapper and have enough for a random roll. What level are we starting the random rolls? Sell as a recipe or a crafted IO?

CYA in game.

Noght 50 Scrapper Broadsword/Invulnerability
Fire Umbra 50 Brute Dark Melee/Fire Aura
Impulse Cry 50 Blaster Sonic/Energy
Internist 50 Mastermind Poison/Thugs
Ice Omega 50 Corrupter Ice/Radiation
Prickly Heat 50 Dominator Plant/Fire

I'm doing 30-34. Not sure if it's optimal, but this way I'll ensure getting something 33 and below. I didn't want to end up with something at 35...that would defeat the point of this whole exercise.

It would? I was planning on shooting for 35's. That's the level I look for when I IO out my toons, and I can tell you from experience that the competiton for that level can be fairly stiff, most likely due to people who look for "round numbers".

I was hoping to IO out my toon for Posi runs, I am not sure as to what level to lock her down as far as levels go. I was at first considering the very low levels for the Stealth etc...

But now Im not so sure, I am up to any suggestions to help feed the Market

Have not considered a red side toon yet, but have not made a red side runner in a long time. When I think of some type of toon to make I will reach out to you

Sweet.

In the meantime, the battle for non-Fulmens prestige leader continues between myself and Fury. Fury currently leading 42K to 38K.

As a DC fan, I am very amused at how I will be recreating my main on another server with a different backstory to be part of a "Crisis". Especially since I will be a speedster character and those that are in the know, know that its a death-sentence for that character type.

But back to the main point: I will be able to have decent gaming time this weekend so if I actually make it out of the costume creator in less than 3 hrs I will be annoying someone for an invite both on red and blue.

doublepost to add:

I kind of like the idea of everyone rolling at whatever level they feel like. That way instead of having, like, "level 33 and 50" in the market we have more coverage.

I'm going to be doing one roll every time I finish a TF plus the rest at 33, on E K Nachtmusic. (Dark/Sonic)

Edit: And Protection Racket is probably going to do some more work at level 35.

Mini-guides: Force Field Defenders, Blasters, Market Self-Defense, Frankenslotting.

The fire/rad static team I suggested is completly optional. I suggested it because of two things.

1. Some of the most fun I have every had in this game has been on a team of fire/rads. If you have never had a chance to see such a team in action, I highly recommend trying it out.

2. This is a part time thing for me also, so if I can get a team together, and get 3-5 levels an hour to get to lv 33-35 faster and more funnly, rather than slog it alone as a solo toon I'm all for it.

I would like it if everyone in the SG who has a free slot on freedom makes a fire/rad. I would love it if when you see myself or anyone trying to form a fire/rad team, you pull it out and join them. Give it a try, if you dont like it, at least you will know you don't like it. On the other hand, you may come to believe, like I do, that running around on a group of fire/rads is about as much fun as you can have in this game.

Global is @honcho
On Champion
Living Coal LV 50 Fire/Fire Tank
Nature Boy LV 41 Earth/Kin Cont
Great Wacko LV 34 Robot/FF MM
plus many alts

Weird question, wouldn't a single kin defender or controller help out a lot with endurance and recharge? Never tried the fire/rad but especially early on, while the attacks may be autohit for gobs of damage, the endurance and recharge are still issues.

the other question is would a corrupter be the redside equivalent?

Fire(well any AOE primary)/rad corrs indeed stack in a similar way. They lose containment, but gain scourge.

Battle is heating up. As I write this, I lead 70k to Squez's 55k. Squez is scary. Not only is my character 13 levels higher but Squez is gaining all that prestige on a blaster.

Meanwhile mid level recipe selling has been surprisingly lucrative. I've cracked the 45M mark this morning. Not bad for a character who had only 77k three days ago.

Blah... all this good stuff going on and I am stuck at work with an auditor who is giving me a rectal exam using some strange equipment that even Nemesis would be proud of

Now 70K to 62K as I have to knock off to make supper. I feel I will be chasing Fury_Flechette around perdition's flames on this one.

Got lucky on some ticket rolls earlier and put up a lvl 19 Karma -KB. And 64 merits in tow at level 22.

Accelerate Metabolism stacked 8 times renders all problems obsolete. + damage + rech + end.

If you can hit, you can kill.
