I would say that the level of PvP on Freedom is many many steps higher than that of any other server. If you can't handle being targetted by a team or you want to stand under the statue and FightKlub it up then yeah it may not be for you, but I would say that after Jan. 31st there are going to be very few PvPr's left on any server other than Freedom and, I can't believe I am going to say this, Virtue. I know that En3my of M4n and CriticalKat are trying to get PvP going more on Champion but still the majority are transferring to Freedom. So long story short Freedom>any other server when it comes to the competitiveness of PvP I know, I know Psypunk post, and I am sorry. |
What's left of dUmb PvP (many of our players perma-quit in i13) is moving to Free dUmb (motto "Why pay for dUmb?") on Freedom. Since ABH disbanded (gonna say 2 years ago), many of it's players quit or joined dUmb. Infinity PvP was dUmb rofflestomping folks then no one wanting to fight. For the last year and a half (at least) Infinity arena rankings have been as follows:
1. dUmb
2. (vacant)
We had fun on test ladder pre-i13 (post-i13 was a joke, as some of you would say our team was) and even made a few championship runs (curse you i13 closed beta start </angry_old_man>). Even though we may get rofflestomped in Freedom, at least there is action.
To those who say Freedom has more n00bs, this is true. Freedom has more of everything- n00bs, jerks, bad PvPrs, good PvPrs, etc. The exception is RP; see also lolVirtue.

On a side note I was in RV on Freedom at like 5am this morning and some scrapper sent me a tell that they were reporting me for interupting their private duel under the statue. I didn't respond and instead I killed him again and he went in to hyper nerdrage and spammed me with RL threats to my life. Was quite lulzy.

I if you PvP to Win, then Freedom is the place for you - You will have a more like minded individuals to compete against.
If not, then maybe you will find justice more appealing.
For me? There isn't much market for fiteclub with an emp (and I couldn't handle the ******** and moaning that would happen after they lost) and PvP in a place where teaming and tactics are looked down upon doesn't sound to fun - so Freedom is the better of the two.

I so know I need to start moving my pvpahz over to freedumb.... but it sucks letting go. Moved one with cash before they announced the free transfers and thought that would be okay, but now what little was left of triumph's community is moving. Bah. Are most people transfering every single pvp toon? Or leaving a few for lolz on their home servers?
Also I really need to transfer a toon to justice for a few days since they were apparently talking shiz about triumph's pvpers last night D: How dare you!

And what's wrong with my RPing tank? Before taunt was nerfed (The first time) back in i8sh, It was my main toon. Youd be suprised how pissed off you could make someone just by auto follow and Auto cast on Taunt
I also used to list my PvP toons in my sig...but listing my stormy and rad would just depress me since they are worthless now

Frankly, I don't care if there really are AMAZING players on Justice (there aren't, but again, I don't care).
Transfer to freedom. If you really are super-duper, then great! We will have some super-duper players on freedom to play with. If you are bad (you probably are), transfer to freedom anyway so we have more people and can establish a larger PvP player base.
Either way, transfer to freedom. It's been the live PvP server since about i9, and it's definitely the PvP server now.
Yes, PvP is bad blah blah blah. No one disagrees, so before you drop an anti-i13 post stop and think: you aren't being original or cutting edge, or even controversial. Just transfer to freedom. It's not hard (It's also free).
