If possible, flag the uninterruptible version of AS to be PVE only. Have the pvp version still be interruptible so as to not mess with MY ASing while out of/in to hide. Problem solved.

Aside from the whole respeccing out of fitness thing, which I'm still guilty of not doing on 80% of my pvp toons that I still play everyday.

both builds are missing a few key things at just a glance:
- Not HP capped (on the spines stalker)
- Low Dmg Bonus
- Low Acc Bonus
- Very little KB protection
- Weird slotting (hasten doesn't need to be 3 slotted, drop a slot from that into placate,perception IO in BU means you only get the bonus when you activate BU)
- Underslotted Travel powers ( Mobility is key when it comes to stalking)
I'll look through them more in depth when I have time. -
I wouldnt mind a map that takes place inside the actual arena building.

But seriously, since you probably just threw your build together quickly you didn't notice that you passed the hp cap by over 100 hp and that you exceeded those acc bonuses like twice. take some slots from havoc punch (you wont use it often enough to justify 6 slots) and health (keep the two procs) and throw them in like brawl for makos (more damage bonuses) and a slot in stamina for the 5th PS (even more damage bonuses)
also, a set of doctored wounds is way cheaper as well. -

End drain is, in the end, much, much lower and global recharge is much higher. Slotted Assassin's Strike with Hetacomb, you seem to be able to nab purples. If you can't get Hetacomb, Crushing Impact will do.

once upon a time before many people had heard of pvp or even this game, there used to be 2 pvp ladders that frequently had matches and practices on test nightly. each ladder had nearly a dozen teams with double to triple the rosters of teams nowadays. not to mention zones (especially on freedom, and even on champion at one time) used to be packed. There was definitely enough of a population for a few to be above and beyond the skill of many others.

It's my understanding that the majority of the players participating in this league are new to pvp and many of which have no experience outside of the pvp bootcamp recently hosted on champion. I would hardly consider them elite or experts by any means in that case. Furthermore, The rules and guidelines set for this league are dramatically more restrictive then the standard recognized rules to ensure a more newbie friendly environment which makes this league way more casual and less competitive then leagues past. being one of the veteran pvpers on this server I can honestly say that the skill level across the board when it comes to most of the players participating (myself included) is no where near past leagues. Your lying to yourself if you believe it is.
Also, just for lulz, please name off some of the “elite pvpers” participating, chances are it’ll probably be someone that I have known for quite a while now. A lot of them will probably be the first to admit they while they are skilled, many people with much more skill have come before them. -
EDIT: First off, this toon is currently made for pure AE farming. I had plan on taking full advantage of using a dead lowbie to vengeance as often as possible and only plan on facing off against mobs that do only fire damage. What I am wondering is if somebody would help me fine tune and tinker around a bit more with my build to help me achieve the following:
- A more hybrid build. Suitable for farming and standard content.
- Same if not greater amount of defense to S/L and/or Fire damage.
- Same if not greater amount of recharge.
- Lower endurance costs/ higher regeneration and recovery rates.
- A Travel power.
- KB protection.

Doms in general will always have a place in high end pve. going with a soft capped defense /perma dom build is cheap with creative slotting. especially since fitness is now inherit. having the aoe immob does wonders. Earth is the most "controllish" out of all the sets with no down time. stalagmites + stone cages on one group, earthquake + quick sand on next group, volcanic gases + stone cages on another group and back to the first combo. works great with Psy to keep them bunched up. Psy still does really well even with the Psy Shockwave nerf.

sounds fun to me, this game isnt hard enough to where being creative with slotting messes you up too much. give it a try in the training room and see how you like it.

Zapp doesnt do quite the damage of sharks for sure and that is why most of us take the shharks. But the added range from a sniper on a stalker could still be handy for reaching a fast runner or a nice KS once in a while.
I see little knots of stalkers spiking sharks a lot now and it is a great tactic. I also see the heroes cover that 80 feet a lot of times and get a hit off on the stalker before they can re-hide. Imagine the same knot of stalkers popping off sniper blasts from 150 feet. They could easily get back into hide before ever getting reached by any hero. Again, not as damaging but there is some potential there with enough stalkers working together.
With all the clustering (turtling) we are seeing from the heroes camp this could be another tactic to counter that. A nice six stalker spike on the stormie lynch pin might just take the wind out their sails some. -
